Authentic Italian style firewood oven baked pizzas. If you are on a budget, would love to try Italian, but are always put off by the expensive bills, this is just the right place for you.
And talk about authenticity, you can see the big traditional pizza oven at the front, with the little door and chimney. Its a delight watching they prepare your pizza by tossing it, putting all the topping and then shoving it inside the little oven door with a long wooden... spoon? spatula? Anyway a big, long stick.
The owner Chef Yasser is always around, often greeting you personally at the dining table or at the entrance, more so if you're a new face around (he remembers almost all the regular patrons). A very warm guy! I guess he trained his staffs very well, because the food are all superb and he got a lot of free time hahaha! Sorry Chef, jk ur a great guy and I will most definitely be a regular there (and not just because the price are cheap 😆)
The foods as you can guess is mainly Italian/ western style, emphasis on various pastas (bolognese, carbonara, aglio etc) and pizzas, steaks and fillets but theres also the usual Malaysian fare like mi goreng, nasi goreng... with steaks, lamb/ chicken chops and shellfishes! I would say the specialty here is authentic Italian fare with Malaysian fusion dishes. And since the head Chef is always by your side, you can also consult with him directly, even do special requests! Now where else can you do that and have a 5 star hotel grade Italians, without the 5 star...
Read moreI'm sorry to say, but the food didn’t even meet a basic standard. Overall, the dishes were quite bland and confusing in taste.
The Don Pizza – I mostly tasted cheese. The minced beef felt underseasoned and lacked flavor. I couldn’t tell what the intended taste was supposed to be.
The Fresh Lasagna – The oregano completely overpowered the dish. I could barely taste the Bolognese sauce, and it wasn't evenly heated — only the outer part was quite hot while the inside was not even warm. On top of that, I found herb stems inside the lasagna, which unacceptable.
Both dishes didn’t match the price in terms of quality or flavor. I wasn’t expecting anything extraordinary, but I did hope for something decent, especially since the owner is said to be a former chef in Liverpool and a specialist in Italian cuisine. Honestly, I left quite frustrated with the food.
Service-wise, the staff were generally okay — polite and doing their job. But the cashier seemed uninterested. They just collected the money without even asking whether all the food had been served or how the meal was. A simple check-in would’ve made the experience feel more cared for.
The only positive and have flavor from the meal was the mushroom soup — that one was decent, not bad

The waiters are knowledgble with the product, they know the fast moving item well and best menu to recommonded to the newcomers.
The service is quite fast, drink were served first before the main course, overal it takes 20 minutes which is i consider quite fast for all the foods and drinks arive.
The food are amazing, everything in the pizza is balanced, the sauces dint overpower the cheese, the crust is nice, the topping is fresh, even after they baked the pizza, i can still taste the freshness of the black olive and its not dry. And the toping ratio is quite good. Believe me iam not a mac cheese person, but to think i would like to come again for the mac and cheese is pretty insane. 😂
