KL Guest Hotel — Hotel in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

I’ve checked in with family of 4. The hotel lobby was beautiful but the rooms was the worst we ever enter! The beds also looked like being used by other guests and seemed they just make up the room instead of changing it to new and clean bedsheet. Stain at the bedsheet. I think the housekeeping is not trained well enough. Got dry dead coackroach and dust hanging on the table. Towels also need to rent. I asked the receptionist, why do we need to rent. He said don’t know and don’t even bother ask. All hotel supposed to provide towels to guest. Even if we need to rent, at least give a valid reason. Also, I don’t expect too much just keep the cleanliness real. People staying at hotel to rest not for fun. We even drove here from JB and expect to rest well. I stayed in KL Guest Hotel for 5 nights and it's RM78 per night during the promotion period for one person in a double room if I didn't use the other bed. I moved in on Sunday and checked out on Friday. Over the weekend, I called the hotel to make a reservation for Sunday till Tuesday for the upcoming week and before I hang up the phone, I confirmed with the staff about the price which he said it's still RM78 per night for one person. When I reached the hotel on Sunday, the guy at the front desk told me it's RM118 now and I told him I already made the reservation on Saturday and the hotel told me it's RM78. The promotion price laminated paper was still at the counter (as attached). The staff called the boss and the staff told me the boss decided to end the promotion right now so my price will be RM118 per night. We stayed in the hotel for 2 days for a family vacation. The location of the hotel is somewhat in residential area, there were times that the grab driver had a hard time locating the hotel. hotel is accessible to 7-11 and some stores, there were also some food stalls at night. Interior of the hotel is very modern and chic, very clean, the beds are comfortable and everything looks new. The receptionists who attended to us were very friendly and accommodating and have always been ready to attend to our needs.
