Dine in there during first day of chinese new year place were pack from inside with AC to outside open air seating area and many more still waiting in queue waiting for their number to be call since so many came luckily we waited about 30 min for a 3 seating table. Havent been here for long time as I always go to other place.

Food were ok but I give it 5 star for plain chee cheong fun still i prefer kl style chee cheong fun with their thick black sauce texture. Thou the sauce texture not as thick but taste is on point. Another one lobak gou also not bad not too oily Order bird nest desert it cost rm 32 just want to feel have have and seldom have this. Taste is nice thick and with lot of bird nest although portion is kinda small not too sweet very niceee worth a try if you seldom have this ( I ordered this as J dont feel well). I guess this trip give me an ultimatum where I should go for if I wanna go for a nice dim sum place to eat and definitely not here unless I have family member wanted to come here.🥰 please give it a try yourself as people say to see is to believe, for good food, to taste is to believe😁GONG XI FAT...

Folks, when it comes to dim sum in KK City, I've done the legwork so you don't have to. After much sampling and exploration, I've come up with a definitive top three list of the best places to get your fix of these delectable dishes.

Now let me tell you, what sets this spot apart is the fact that they are mindful of dietary restrictions. Whether you're vegetarian, or sensitive to prawn and pork, they have clearly marked them with icons.

Plus, the indoor and outdoor dining areas are both lovely and cool, making for a comfortable experience no matter what the weather is like.

But of course, the real test lies in the dim sum itself. So let me break it down for you. When it comes to the must-try dishes, I've got to recommend the chicken feet and cheong fun. These spots really excel in those areas. However, the paikut and liushabao are better elsewhere, and the siumai, while tasty, is a bit on the small side.

That being said, Foo Phing offer quick service with no waiting in lines for seats. So if you're looking for a scrumptious dim sum feast with all the bells and whistles,...

One of the few good places for dim sum in Kota Kinabalu. It can get crowded really fast so it’s best to come earlier in the morning. Parking in the area is an annoyance as is everywhere in Kota Kinabalu.

The shop has a more aesthetically pleasing and modern look after renovations and it is more comfortable then what it used to be a decade ago.

Service quality is acceptable but can be problematic especially during the surge of customers where the crowd is just chaotically swarming the shop especially during weekends, so for your own peace of mind, it is best not to place unrealistic expectations upon the staff to serve you like royalty.

Food is good, selection is very wide and includes most of the usual dim sums. It is highly recommended to try the prawn rolls, sweet & sour rolls and bacon rolls on top of the usual shao mai and dumplings. I personally liked the Chinese pancakes as it is quite hard to find a good one in the city.

Price - $$$ and increasing Service - Good Food - Good Location - Moderate

Will I come back - Definitely Would I recommend...

Great ambiance. Really like the choice of seatings. Cafe like in the front with a take away waiting booth, covered open air in the middle and, the banquet tables in aircon at the back. Food was enjoyable. Love the crispy prawn roll. Love the peanut sesame ball. Love the lotus leaf rice. Won’t repeat the tarts, can take a pass on their recommended fish ball varieties. Certainly willing to try all others on offer. Can see why it’s a popular returning spot for dimsum. Really like that they take pride in showcasing their clean kitchen next door. Thought a lazy susan could be useful for sharing around the round table though. 6% SST at billing.
