Dine in there during first day of chinese new year place were pack from inside with AC to outside open air seating area and many more still waiting in queue waiting for their number to be call since so many came luckily we waited about 30 min for a 3 seating table. Food were ok but I give it 5 star for plain chee cheong fun still i prefer kl style chee cheong fun with their thick black sauce texture. Thou the sauce texture not as thick but taste is on point. Another one lobak gou also not bad not too oily Order bird nest desert it cost rm 32 just want to feel have have and seldom have this. Taste is nice thick and with lot of bird nest although portion is kinda small not too sweet very niceee worth a try if you seldom have this ( I ordered this as J dont feel well). Read moreOne of the few good places for dim sum in Kota Kinabalu. It can get crowded really fast so it’s best to come earlier in the morning. Parking in the area is an annoyance as is everywhere in Kota Kinabalu.
The shop has a more aesthetically pleasing and modern look after renovations and it is more comfortable then what it used to be a decade ago.
Service quality is acceptable but can be problematic especially during the surge of customers where the crowd is just chaotically swarming the shop especially during weekends, so for your own peace of mind, it is best not to place unrealistic expectations upon the staff to serve you like royalty.
Food is good, selection is very wide and includes most of the usual dim sums. It is highly recommended to try the prawn rolls, sweet & sour rolls and bacon rolls on top of the usual shao mai and dumplings. I personally liked the Chinese pancakes as it is quite hard to find a good one in the city.
