To sum up my experience: slightly above average but not among the best. Will stop by if I am at the area, but will not come here purposely for the food.
The shop is not so conveniently located in front of a T junction, making parking a challenge, especially if you are going on weekends. There are no dedicated parking spot.
The vibe is immaculate. It definitely exudes a "retro" vibe. The seating area is spacious with little to no wait time if you go on weekdays.
As for the food, the laksa is okay. It is definitely better than many other places, but that's it. The base is rich and delicious, the bean sprouts are crunchy. Personally, pork meats are not a good combination with laksa. As for the noodle, I do not think the shop uses bihun, which is what I am used to. Laksa is slightly pricier than other shops. Understandable, since it uses pork.
The drink is ok. Taste and prices are just like any other average...
Read moreCame here because acclaimed roasted goods. Tried the breakfast noodles, tasted sorry for me (not according to my buds). Service, bolehla. Sorry if my comments here might seems not convincing or towards cruel side as that really not so good for me. Char siew pork tasted a bit off (not according to my definition of good one as it came with a type of weird smell) and the roasted pork is okay. Although this place is famous for the roasted, but for me this is still very good enough for me (as of my opinion). Do come try if you haven’t tried at least once to taste early morning roasted in Krokop 5. Closed...

Their char Siew wasn’t the best I’ve tried so far as it could be much more tender full.
However, tried their crispy roast pork with Laksa in it. I’ve got to say that the flavour oil of the crispy pork has succumb into the laksa which gives 1 more layer of savouriness to the broth.
I also recommend trying their fish head bee hoon for those who aren’t a fan of pork. Their broth was coming from the sauerkraut & their fish head was really...
