A food court setting with multiple hawker stalls selling various things from dim sum, traditional Chinese kueh, kolomee, kueh chap, duck rice, etc. It can get very crowded. We ordered the Chinese kueh from the aunty on the stall to the right end. The vege kueh and yam cake were very delicious. The kueh chap from the middle stall on the left was very nice and highly recommend anyone trying it. The stall in front selling dim sum wasn’t for us. Dim sum was small, very floury and expensive.

Dropped by an old favourite food court at the Hopoh Association. Only reason for infrequent food calls is the difficulty in finding a nearby parking space! Food is still A1 in most of the stalls. Favourite dish - steaming hot mixed meat soup noodle is simply yummy. Well worth the RM 6. A other favourite is the fresh chicken man seng....so tasty with generous rice wine. Place has toilets which are clean. Well worth a visit.

I eat Kway chap in Singapore very often where the standards are very high. The Kway chap here at Hopoh is very good. The big and small intestines are so clean, tender and flavourful. The soup is powerful and tasty. The Kway is not bad. Overall this is the go to place for Kway chap. Simply satisfying. Has all the egg and tofu as well if you want. Look for Chuan Loong.

One of the best places to eat in Miri. This place offer a myriad variety of hawker food including but not limited to Sarawak's famous kolo mee & laksa, kompyang, dim sum, curry rice, chicken rice and assorted chinese cuisine. The crown jewel of the Hopoh is the "Kueh Chap" stall which offers one of the best kueh chap you can find in Miri. The family run stall has been selling the same dish unchanged since decades ago and you find nary a table not strewn with their signature red bowls. The Kueh Chap is a dish made with flat rice noodles served with varies pork meat /innards, boiled eggs and tofu puffs served with a flavourful broth. My most favourite part of the dish is the tofu puff after they have soaked up the broth and biting in to them causes a explosion of the tasty broth in your mouth. It is definitely worth the try for anyone visiting Miri. There is also the option to forgo the innards if they not...
