I had the most wonderful experience at Kanopi Café in Tropical Spice Garden. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a little oasis tucked away in nature. Surrounded by the lush greenery and the calming sounds of the garden, it honestly felt like time slowed down.
The café itself is so inviting open, breezy, and perfectly in tune with its surroundings. I loved just sitting there, sipping on my drink and taking in the view; it was peaceful, refreshing, and so different from the usual café setting. A must try, Chai Masala! Might be the best one on planet earth. Don’t take my word for it, try it.
The food was absolutely lovely too fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully put together. It wasn’t just about eating; it felt like part of the whole experience of being immersed in the garden. Kudos to Shamil who is behind Cheffoffduty! The selection was homey and delectable.
What really stayed with me, though, was the atmosphere. There’s something so grounding and calming about being there—it’s not just a place to grab a bite, but a spot where you can truly unwind, reconnect, and feel recharged.
Kudos to the team at Kanopi - big shoutout to Jon and Vishnu for creating and making this oasis possible. Keep up the good work guys!

Read moreA hidden place surrounded by alots of greenery, quite peaceful and relaxing once you find it! It’s a bit hidden (blocked by cars parking at roadside), so if you’re driving from town toward Teluk Bahang, be careful or you might miss the turning like I did 😅. Ended up taking a long turn back, but it was worthwhile in the end. BTW, Parking is by the roadside, challenging.
The place itself has a very calm, chill, and natural vibe. Really enjoy sitting here just to hang out with friends or even quietly look at the sky. BTW, my own phone reception is poor. Which makes it even easier to disconnect and really relax. It can get slightly crowded on weekends (people come, people go), so come on weekdays if you prefer a quieter time.
Overall, nice hidden gem. Would...
Read moreOverhyped. Been there twice. First time, they said only serving limited drinks. Second time was there for breakfast around 10:30am, simply said they are closing for an hour and not serving. We drove there from far and was super hungry. Didn’t even offer drinks menu. And he suggested to head to nearby Indian shop. Erm! You decide!
Adding reply as they took effort to reply: Jon, we had senior citizen with us. Sometimes these small things matter. In fact, that was the second time at the cafe. Earlier visit also you had preferred customers and non preferred and limited menu with some similar excuses. Both these around 10-11am. I did not write a review just like that. My friend and aunt came from Mainland and I don't think you are getting...
