Go early if you’ve not made a table booking. You may be seated outside which you have to ward off a legion of flies, or be dripping in sweat due to the humid weather. The staff are courteous and welcoming. But during peak time, they’re running all over the place. Please be patient with them. A bottled nutmeg drink is enough for an average group of 7 adults but it’s quite sweet. Add ice. Since we were early with our orders (we made them at 6:10pm), all the dishes were served quite quickly within a few minutes of each other. If you’re on a budget, remember to ask how much the dishes cost. We weren’t presented with a menu, it was just based on verbal recommendations. Food-taste wise, it’s acceptable and some dishes stood out more compared to others. The portion of the curry fish meat (grouper) is small, but the taste is quite good (RM70+) Yam ring with sweet sour pork is a signature dish. Recommended (RM60+) Two-taste chicken: the fried one is quite tasty, but the streamed chicken, although soft, lack any taste profile (RM60+) Streamed lala - they’re cleaned quite well (no rude surprises with accidentally biting into sand) and taste alright on the mild side. I would personally prefer a stronger taste. The rest of the dishes are just ok. Price wise, I don’t really think it’s reasonable as other reviewers have mentioned. It’s above average, but to some people, this might be normal. Overall we spent RM320 for what you see on our table (5 adults, 2 seniors, 1 child).

Will I come back? Maybe, but since I don’t live around this area, the...

The dishes paired well with rice. Don’t expect the finesse of a high-end Chinese restaurant—then again, the prices reflect that.

We had what they called steamed fish, though it was more like a Thai-style boiled version. A gas burner underneath kept the soup hot throughout. The curry was flavourful, though the prawns weren’t fresh.

The Hakka kau yoke was decent, but the yam should’ve been softe, it was a bit too firm.

The place can get a little noisy, and the ambience is average. But service was attentive, and most importantly, prices were reasonable.

If you’re just looking to fill your belly with comforting rice-friendly dishes, this place...

First time visiting here, even just two of us, couple, we ordered two styles chickens, their restaurant recommended taofu and also 4 types of vegetables (四大天王)with 2 Chinese drinks and 2 big rice's and 2 small rice. Wow...eat very full. All dishes that we ate very nice. No wonder there are so many people there. But we not sure last time is having aircond or not.. might after restaurant growth then have air cond.

Original taught might expensive, however while paying only Rm88.xx... it very worth.

Definitely will revisit again in future and highly recommended.

May have alook on the items that we...
