Nice and simple night market with plenty of food choices & some goods to buy! I think this night market is mostly for the locals as they featured food and daily necessities. Not really for tourists as they didn’t have any souvenirs for purchase. However, it was fun for us to see and try the food. Most of it was really yummy, but a lot of it was really unhealthy. If you’re a tourist and happen to be in Penang on a Wednesday, do try to make your way down and have some good local food! I at muah Chee, fried chicken drumstick, keropok lekor, dessert, durians, fried man tou, fried squid and had a super fresh freshly squeezed soursop juice. The juice was sour and yummy! Loved that. If you’re a local, for the sake of your health, pls don’t come here more than once a month! Haha… But it was good....

Read moredespite being located a little ways away from Georgetown, the nightmarket is still bustling with activity. we came here after a day of Hiking Penang Hill Badly and were pleasantly surprised with the options. if yall don’t know this, Penang has different night markets happening each day of the week at a different location, so vendors from one venue may reappear at another.
anyway, we found plenty of novel stalls to try and ended up with a crispy Hawaiian pizza (RM13) with a generous spread of chicken, a mid cake (RM5), imitation shark fin soup with abalone slices (RM6), fried wontons (RM6 for 10) and assam lemonade for RM4.
