We had a very tasty and filling lunch with some of the best milkshakes ever. And still something felt amiss. Fairytales aren't real 😕. To the good first. The pork burger had the juciest pork patty I've had ever. It made for the tastiest burger I've had in Penang. Couple that with some crisp fries, salted just right, and life is good. The two other dishes my family opted for were the chicken rice bowl and Philly steak wrap. The girls were a happy duo and licked their plates clean. Scrumptious food, good portion sizes and well presented. We also ordered the salted caramel pretzel and key lime pie milkshakes. If there was milkshake heaven these might be served there. The calorie count?? Well, nothing that a run tomorrow morning won't shake off. Now why a 🙁 you may ask. The welcome was warm and we were seated comfortably. We placed our orders and the ginger ale my wife ordered came soon. And then we waited. And waited. The place then started to fill up. Other guests who had come before us had already been served. So where was our food? Ok given, probably a hold up with the food. How about the shakes? No sign of them either. Finally, the food arrived and only after that came the milkshakes. Not done. What's worse, the food for all other tables then started to come out in a jiffy. We didn't want to complain, nor was the wait that long that it became disconcerting. My wife and I even took the time to look around at the things on display and sale at the restaurant. But the time lag in our case was palpable. It was evident, no other table needed to wait for as long as we did once they ordered. Anyway, we then got busy with eating. The rest was a belly feast. So a tentative 5 stars overall and 1 star deducted for service. I will be...
Read moreWent to this restaurant for breakfast based on google review but was disappointed by the quality, taste and presentation of food, the general cafe settings and the rather expensive price across its menu. We ordered the Sunny side up (at RM19.90 base price), and added bacon which takes it to RM28.40 - all you get is one fried egg on on whole meal toast spreaded with guacamole with some rockets served with diced potatoes. The bacon was overcooked and the potatoes were warm at best when served (certainly didn’t taste fresh). My husband requested the egg to be scrambled and it was overcooked! The kids ordered Mac and cheese and the macaroni was undercooked. The only item that suited our palette was the pancake but the presentation was a let down and we had to request more maple syrup. All up we spent over RM250 for breakfast for 5 people and it’s a really underwhelming experience. If you are a foodie this is not a...

We found the cafe by chance through local recommendation. The location is quite isolated from city centre and parking is a bit hard to find close to the shop, but the trip is worth to satisfy our big brunch craving. The cafe is comfy with young adult and family gathering vibes, the staffs are friendly and accommodate, the food was fantastic, and prices are acceptable. As for my understanding, the menus for lunch and dinner is different. And it's a non-halal cafe. We ordered hungry man brunch and pulled pork and mango wrap. The mango wrap burst with exciting flavor and each bite makes you want...
