Bad Mood, Good Food â Always Back to O.T.S. Back at O.T.S. Food Centreâhonestly, Iâve lost count how many times Iâve come. Not sure when it started, but at some point, this place just became my comfort zone. Somehow, food here always tastes better⊠maybe because I keep coming on days I need it most. . Today wasnât great. I didnât feel like cooking. So, we came here. Again. . Still exploring the nasi lemak optionsâthis time, I picked the basic one and added fried chicken. RM9 and so worth it. Crispy, satisfying, comforting. Definitely a must-order. . My friend tried the herbal chicken mee sua (RM9). The herbal flavour was rich and warmingâslightly on the salty side if you like it light, but undeniably authentic. Weâd totally come back for it. . Oh, and we grabbed some grilled skewers tooâRM1.20 each. Meaty, juicy, just the right bite to chew the bad vibes away. . I guess this is my go-to when life feels messy. Itâs not just about the foodâitâs about the feeling of being grounded. O.T.S. probably doesnât even need an intro anymoreâlocal legend status already unlocked. đ . . JSE@20250703 . Viral Stall, Quiet Day â So I Gave It a Go đ€đ We stopped by OTS again, as usualâunsure of what to eat. While wandering past the nasi lemak stall, I noticed something rare: the usually crowded viral stall was quiet today. So⊠why not give it a try? . I ordered nasi lemak with sambal prawn (RM9) and a barley kosong (RM2.70). My friend, loyal to her usual, got her favorite mee hoon kuih (RM7). . đ„Ź The mee hoon kuih was as comforting as everâpacked with vegetables, which is becoming a rare sight these days. . đ My nasi lemak? Surprisingly vibrant and colorful. The sambal prawn was flavorful and cooked just rightâtotally worth the try. . Looks like Iâve found a new favorite. Definitely coming back to try more variants of their nasi lemak⊠and maybe explore a few other stalls too. đ . . JSE@20250701 . OTS Food Court â Still One of Our Go-To Spots . We visit OTS often, and it rarely disappoints. . Our usual picks? đ Fried chicken, đČ Porridge, đ Mee hoon kuih â solid staples we keep coming back for. . This time, I went for something different: đ„© Braised beef with celery, tomato, and carrot â RM13 A dish you donât usually see in your everyday food court lineup. Juicy, tender, full of flavor. Canât believe I cleared the whole bowl of riceâbut I did. . đ©âđŒ Service? The drink ordering system could use some help. A young Chinese girl was zipping around to take drink orders, but itâs clearly not enough during peak hours. They should consider a QR code systemâorder, pay, and deliver direct to table. Smooth and efficient. . đ¶ Vibes? Chill. Weekend bar singer doing covers of trending hits. The place is strung with lights and Chinese-inspired decorâcozy and vibrant without trying too hard. . â Will we come again? Of course. đ„ Recommend to friends? Not necessaryâOTS already speaks for itself. . Just another solid visit to a place that gets the balance rightâcomfort food, atmosphere, and that one surprise dish that keeps you...

Read moreMy friends and I went there fairly early, even for a Wed night, to get the seats, away from the sun and underneath the fan. đ€Łđ€Ł. Street parking was available, few stalls were closed. Check out with your favourable so you miss them on your visit. We had rojak, which was old style and delicious, we ordered another. The sauce used was like none better we even asked for spoons so we spoon up the sauce! I personally had braised pork served with taukuah, egg and a small bowl of curry sauce. My order was a disappointment as I find the braised pork 'undercooked'. It was meant to kind of 'melt in your mouth'. It was hard in my opinion. The taukuah was over cooked as it was kind of hard. I had that same dish 2 days earlier at a different food court. My friends had hakka green tea rice and they said they enjoyed it. All three of us agreed that the popiahs were not great like the bankuang tasted a wee bit over boiled though it came with a sizeable amount per piece. Flavour was not right .. something's missing. Well, those were my personal opinion for what we had on that particular day,...
