Seems like the kind of place I would repeat eat as a family at first. But nope. After eating the food? Never again. Please avoid at all costs.

Miang pla talapia was rm55 for bland fish that wasnt marinated at all. You can taste the kolam in the fish. It was served uncooked, then they fried it a lil bit more and served it upside down haha. Cute. But still the taste wah i really can’t have more than 1 bite.

Oyster was rm40 for 4 medium-small sized ones. Mind you it was literally frozen, it feels like I was chewing ice. My mind was blown seriously. Rm10 for 1 pcs each of frozen oyster? Of course I had to finish it while thinking of food poisoning the whole time 🥲😇

Salted egg squid fried rice was the instant salted egg powder - fried rice with fried squid. Nangis.

The staffs muka memang uh, dunno how to say la. As if I force them to work there. So terpaksa, and their service was terrible — bila cakap pun macam nak marah. Especially those akak2 muka kelantan.

Anyways i told the malay guy at the cashier about the ikan and he said to not charge us with it. I’m glad he did something to make us feel better. Initial price was rm117 for those 3 things + iced watermelon.

To be honest, this is the best shop for tomyam and fish set meal with kailan, telur dadar plus rice. I've tried a lot places in Gelang Patah (GP) and this place is definitely the best among all. Been eating here on and off for 4 years, all their fried rice menu has the most taste among other places in GP. Although its a bit pricey, the cost does justify the taste, good food is not cheap. They have a new menu now, I tried their Nasi lemak with some paru and kerang, however, its too spicy for me, the rice was good though. Met with the owner, very friendly and lovely. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was a mix of highs and lows. Despite arriving at 6 pm, I ended up waiting until 7.45 for my food, indicating extremely slow service, even with few customers present. However, taste-wise, the dishes were exceptional, offering a unique flavor profile not commonly found elsewhere. Despite this, the portion sizes were disappointingly small. And the price quite expensive but affordable. On a positive note, the restaurant provided three different dipping sauces, which enhanced the dining experience.
