Was introduced this place by sis in law, reference to our regular seafood supplier “Lian Huat”.
Location is situated in an offsite standalone area which also housed a frozen food distribution business.
Anyway, arrived earlier at 330pm with reservation made. Was welcomed by Mr Lawrence Chong at the reception and he managed to allocate a big table (for 11 pax) for us. He apologetically queried if we will be able to vacate the table by 6pm for another group, which is totally fine by us since we know we will “makan” fast.
Ordered the famous dishes and all super yummy!! Really kid-you-not, the food are all well prepared and freshness is no-question, top notch! Thanks Lawrence for your recommendations and (happy belated birthday again!)

The only downside of our visit was the attitude of one elderly staff member, who came across as rather rude to nearly every table he served. At one point, he muttered to himself right in front of us, then abruptly announced (higher tone) that we weren’t ready to order and needed more time, before walking off like a boss. It felt awkward and unprofessional.
Thankfully, a younger staff took our order later was much more helpful and respectful. I genuinely appreciate him for not letting that earlier encounter spoil my mom’s birthday dinner.
One last thing we only found out afterward: leaving a good review can get you a discount on the bill. Would’ve been nice if someone had told us...

Bitter gourd dish is well prepared. Thinly sliced bitter gourd to keep the bitterness at the right balance
Steamed oyster with vermicelli and hot oil pour is a highlight on its own. Eat with caution, the oyster is very hot
Ee mee in prawn broth with big juicy head sea prawn is fantastic choice for carb dish. Crushing the head of the giant prawn will give you creamy yellow juice that adds great aroma to the dish. The prawn broth rivals the prawn flavour of many Hokkien mee dishes.
Lastly, steamed fish garoupa in HK style. the first sip of the sauce will get you hooked for more, not too salty and in perfect balance
Definitely will return...
