Saw this reviewed on Sethlui as a great place for brunch. But the food is rather disappointing and overpriced. Coffee is above average but also not particularly value for money. The decorations and atmosphere will appeal to youngsters on Instagram or tiktok... No wonder there's a sign saying there must be a minimum order to patronise this establishment.
We ordered the English breakfast and the sausage breakfast. We're no food connoisseurs but one look and a bite later, it's clear that all the effort goes into the presentation of the food. The quality of the ingredients are pared back to the absolute minimum.
As for coffee, the presence of hand press coffee machine and exotic looking machine does give us hope that coffee will at least be decent. We chose the basic coffee, flat white and mocca, rather than those exotic flavoured ones to discern the quality. Quality isn't bad but nothing great either.
Seating looks limited, will be difficult during weekends, I reckon. Parking is shared with other small establishments. But should be sufficient unless you're here for...
Read moreThe food was ok, But! But! When we we only ordered a drink for two person, the worker tell us “OUR TREND HERE IS EVERY PERSON MUST ORDER AT LEAST ONE DRINK” which sounded ridiculous to me (even though we ordered two main course and a drink initially). You can set each person must order at least one thing, but what the heck is one drink per person, when the food is pricier than the drink. When the waiter handed over the cutlery, she hold the part where we used to eat with her BARE HANDS, without any hygiene awareness. At least hold it with some tissue bruhhh.
Environment, was as expected, But! But! There were a LOT of mosquitoes, like A LOT. They even flew to the cup.
Speaking of cup, the portion of the drink was really small, two sip, and it’s...
Read moreLune24 is an alfresco concept cafe hence gotta take into account weather if planning to visit this place. Managed to visit the cafe on a cool night and I must say it was quite chill and enjoyable. Tried the houjicha, yuzu cheese cake and the kushiage and all of them were very delectable! The houjicha was very rich and the yuzu cheese cake was not too sweet and very unique with all the different textures from the biscuit crumbs on top and chocolate base coming together. The kushiage was fried upon order and served to you freshly. Just the right amount of batter and not overly seasoned! Highly recommended 👍
Saw from their facebook page that they organise art market with pop up booths and live singers from time to time too!...
