Argentina Corn-Fed Angus Sirloin (Medium) + Black Pepper Sauce :The sirloin arrived with a beautiful sear and well-rendered edges. Cooked to a near perfect medium, the corn fed Angus had that signature buttery mouthfeel with a slightly sweet, nutty finish. The black pepper sauce added depth and heat without overpowering the meat. Would’ve loved a touch more seasoning or finishing salt to elevate the natural umami of the beef, but overall, a very satisfying steak for the price. 10/10
Fried Cassava (Ubi Goreng Celup Tepung) : Visually appetising with a good golden crisp, but sadly, too oily and heavy on the palate, making it overwhelming after just a few bites. The texture was nice, but it could benefit from less oil absorption. Not the most recommended on the list. 2/5
Classic Caesar Salad :This Caesar salad came with a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg .The runny, moist yolk added a rich creaminess that elevated every bite. The salad itself was fresh and crisp, and the dressing was well balanced ,not overly drenched, yet flavourful enough to coat the greens nicely. A simple dish done very well, making it a refreshing starter.10/10
Molten Pistachio Cake :Attractive presentation, but the cake was a bit too dense and slightly overbaked. The molten centre had potential . the pistachio sauce was fragrant and nutty, but it lacked that rich, creamy lusciousness one would expect in a molten dessert. 2/5.
French Onion Soup : This was a comforting bowl of classic bistro fare. The broth was rich and savoury, loaded with sweet caramelised onions. A solid execution of a French staple.
Cappuccino :Smooth and well balanced. Great for those who enjoy their coffee not too acidic, but still robust. And you also got the cookies.4/5
Lemongrass Ginger Tea :A refreshing digestive to end the meal. It was served piping hot, aromatic with a gentle zing from the ginger and citrusy sharpness from the lemongrass.8/10.
Shoestring Fries : Classic, no frills fries served in a generous portion. Lightly salted, golden, and crisp ,great for sharing or as a sidekick to heavier...
Read moreA few items can be further improved. Suggestions:- Presentation: plates too small. Inconvenience to cut the foods. Culinary set too heavy. Not presentable with small plates Tastes: pumpkin soup: unique but not to our taste. Too strong of tumeric that had overtake the sweetness of pumpkin. Pomegranate an extra but not a plus. Spicy chicken chop: I love fried cassava. I think chef know how to make fried stuffs. The texture is good but too bad rancid oil had spoiled my mood to enjoy it. Pls seriously look into this. Aglio olio pasta: below average. Only salty taste. Seabass: fresh and 👍. Dessert: fondant chocolate doneness overcooked. My family love the pistachio cake.a little too sweet for me.
Overall, I will still give another chance since it's newly opened. Hope it won't disappoint...
Read moreThe staff were very friendly. I was looking at the menu but there was no photos for reference, and I was struggling a bit to pick what to eat so I browse thru google maps review and see what's people recommend the most. Then, the guy staff (shout out to him) was being very helpful to help with my order. Then I ended up spending 75 ringgit alone, but it was worth it. The Pistachio cake was so good, inside it got pistachio lava and it tastes damn good. The chicken wing could be better tho, but anyhow the food was good. The Seafoof Laksa Pasta was just okay, but the unsweetened fruits of eden tea was very calming. It goes very well with the sweet...
