Broovies Cafe — Restaurant in Johor

The place is cosy and good for small family gatherings. We greeted the staff with a smile. They were patient with us while waiting for us to order. I love the foah and chips. Really simple, clean fish and chips. It's not too thick on the batter but just crispy enough and a good serving of fries. The all-day breakfast was also great. The sausage was good, which is really hard to come by as some establishments only use the normal hotdog weiners. The toasts were a little soggy so it was a little tough. The marinara, although simple, the taste was just nice. Had the leftover sauce with the toast, which made it more savoury side. It did not go to waste. Other family members ordered the chicken chop with mushroom sauce, lemon and spicy chicken chop. It is great that you can choose a side of either mash, French fries, bakes, potatoes, or rice. A variety of drinks from tea, fruit tea by the pot, blended drinks, fruit juice etc. You will be spoiled with choices. I would love to be back again for just afternoon tea...

We recently hosted an event on the 2nd floor here, and honestly, it was such a great experience. Everything was arranged super last minute. Less than 5 days' notice but the lady bosses were still so accommodating and kind throughout.

The buffet food was one of the highlights. Beautifully presented with thoughtful plating and little decorative touches and we didn’t even pay extra for that! You can really feel the sincerity in their service.

Pricing is super duper reasonable, especially considering how new and well-kept the event space is. Parking wasn’t an issue at all, with plenty of street parking around.

The place is well-equipped with everything you need: projector, sound system, mics, aesthetic long wooden table, clean toilets (two!), karaoke, and most importantly warm smiles and genuinely polite service from the team.

Super happy with how everything turned out. Would definitely come back again for...

We ordered the dinner set - chicken Chop and Fish n Chips. Dinner set came with a starter and a drink. Was excited to try the chicken chops as previous reviews said it was the best in kulai. However was quite disappointed as it did not meet expectations. We also tried their milk tea which was on the sweet side.

The waffle was also strongly recommended by a Friend but we found the taste to be ok only. The chocolate ice cream definitely didn’t taste good.
