Cendol De' Raja • Cendol CDR — Restaurant in Johor

Touching down in Muar, the very first stop we made was this little stall, and it could not have been more perfect. The day was blazing hot, so what better way to kickstart our adventure around Muar than with a refreshing bowl of chendol. The service was quick and efficient, and before long our orders were served.

I went for the chendol durian, and what I loved was that they offered different varieties of durian at different price points. I chose the standard durian option, which still came generously with about six pieces of creamy durian and a nice dollop of sticky rice. What really stood out was the ice — it wasn’t your typical shave ice. I could be wrong, but it tasted like they used coconut cream in frozen form. It gave the whole bowl a richer, silkier texture and blended beautifully with the coconut milk and gula melaka. For RM19, it was absolutely worth it and every bite was heavenly.

The classic chendol with vanilla ice cream was just as enjoyable. The sweetness of the ice cream complemented the richness of the chendol so well. We also tried the rojak buah, which came with real fruits and only a small amount of cucumber. I personally wished the sauce was a little thicker, but it made up for it with plenty of crushed peanuts for extra crunch. To round things off, the lai chi kang was cooling and refreshing, packed with lots of condiments that made it fun to eat.

Overall, it was definitely worth the visit and I know I will be back again the next time...

Peak hours. Ordered cendol jagung, cendol ais krim and rojak mee. I asked the waiter ada taugeh or not inside rojak mee and he replied “biasa tak ada bang” so I just remind him dont want taugeh inside my rojak.

Wait for about 30 mins didnt received our order and saw customers after us already received their order.

Call the waiter and was told he lost our order paper …

Received our order in few mins after that, got my rojak mee with taugeh ... sigh* and cendol not even has manis taste maybe they forgot to put the gula merah. Maybe they rush to prepare our order?

Overall was disappointing. Waited for nothing.

But the waiter said sorry after I made the payment which is nice :)

I think owner should have digitalise order system from now on to prevent this thing happen again and due to many customers.

Bad service. Very very slow. Ordered for takeaway, was told need to follow queue. After 15mins, a new group sat beside our table, dine in. And surprisingly their order for cendol was delivered first. When asked, they informed need to wait again. And no any sort of apologizing and whatnot. Dont inform customer need to follow queue when its not. For 4 nos of cendol (same kind) waiting period is 35mins. And the place is not...
