Elite Hotel Muar — Hotel in Johor

First time visiting Muar just for 1 night. There’s a 99speedmart, cafe and Japanese restaurant nearby. Fast check in with a $50 deposit required, no lift have to climb up to 3rd storey where room is. Clean spacious room with kettle/coffee & tea sachets/mineral water/Toiletries provided. Clean sheets & comfy bed…Limited channels on TV.

Did not have a good rest due to the following: Leaking bidet spray and can hear dripping sound at night Repetitive opening & closing of door after midnite…(like in every 5-10mins) I was too scared to open the door to see what or who😅 A strange howl maybe from the toilet pipe? after somebody on same level flushed? 9pm prayers over loud speaker & the usual morning prayers at...

The location is great — within walking distance to many Muar eateries, yet not right by the main road, so it’s nice and quiet. The room is very spacious — my boyfriend and I were genuinely shocked when we first opened the door! Most importantly, the room was very clean. All the basic necessities are provided: toothbrush and toothpaste, shower gel, bath gel, hair dryer, TV, coffee/tea, and a kettle. They also provide daily housekeeping, which is a plus. One thing to note: they don’t provide room slippers. I didn’t need them, but just a heads-up in case you do. And 99mart just next door, if you need anything.

For a budget hotel, the room is okay for the cheap price you pay. It's really spacious and has a big window that lets a lot of natural light inside. The cleanliness of the room was okay, though some areas of the room are dusty. The bathroom is clean and has a small dustbin and hotel-like hairdryer. I like that they provided free toiletries, mineral water, tea and coffee. Iron and ironing board are outside and shared between rooms though, but I didn't mind since I only stayed for one night. Overall, I feel like the room is worth the price that you pay for a budget hotel, will probably book here again if I'm looking for cheap hotel...
