Authentic Tamil cuisine.

Among a variety of dishes, I selected Indian style bitter gourd tempura, chicken cooked in tamato paste, and mint thogayal.

Bitter gourds are crispy, flavourful with aroma of multiple spices. Unlike typical mamak stalls who sometimes like to recycle leftover fried chicken into some red-paste dishes, the tomato chicken was not reincarnated from something else. Unlike the reincarnated versions which are often overcooked and dry, the tamato chicken is soft and juicy. It is also having very low spice level, friendly to Indian cuisine beginner. Lastly, the mint thogayal is quite interesting. It is a blend of mint leaves, tamarind and some spices. It tastes a bit sour by itself. Though it is fine to eat together with white rice, personally I think it pairs better with plain naan.

Only drawback is the restaurant is semi-open-air, hence flies can also visit freely. Needless to say, their presence while eating is irritating.

If there's negative star option for service i would press that. We been here thrice as this was our go to restaurant with family every single time. But all this 3 time the service was really² bad. We ordered breakfast and it was not crowded all this thrice too. Past 25 min we didn't receive our order yet at all. Even we ordered vadai. Why does it gonna take 25 mins when the vadai is just there idle in the container . All the staff is chitchating and going to back door. And lepaking there. And the dosa cook is literally lepaking chit chatting with staff without double checking the orders. What kind of service you serve us madras to malaya? This is final I'm not visiting this restaurant anymore. And after being asked then only the rushed to make the order and gave to us. So there's is no concern to customers at all. Dear owner please have a look into this as this would bring you restaurant rating down to 2 if this continues. Damn annoying all the...
