Residents of Muar have satay for breakfast. There were 3 small vintage restaurants along the same road selling satay and other classic Johorean dishes. I had soto, and some satay. The soto was rather disappointing, as there were very few pieces of shredded chicken in it, and the soup was too watery. It took very long time for the satay to reach us, as the satau guy was busy packing takeaways even though we came earlier. Thats bad!! . When finally the satay came, after calling twice for it, the peanut sauce was too watery as well. They must have added water to the gravy. Bad!! However, the satay, even though small for 90 sen each, was nice.

I went to this place bcoz another regular place that I always go was full with a long queue. Food tastes so so only. Lontong and Soto gravy is very thin, less spices. Soto ayam without ayam. Satay is small and tastes plain. The kuah kacang is very thin also. However, service is excellent, very fast. Parking is limited. I need to park a bit far away. Overall, ok la if you don't have another choice to fulfill your taste buds or crave Lontong satay Muo for breakfast.

Must try either Mee Bandung or Mee Rebus. If u cant eat spicy, then, u can choose mee rebus. Oh, i felt satisfy with the Mee Bandung! A bit spicy, but, i miss that taste. Only can be found in Johor.

I just know, Satay is a must as breakfast at here, at Muar! So, reconmend to enjoy satay here. The meat is not too hard, smooth to eat, and match with the nuts sauce! In Muar, one of the places to eat Satay, Lontong, Mee Bandung, Mee Rebus, Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken and many more choices for Breakfast!

Yes Only in Muar! Satay for Breakfast. Here the satay is soft and not too tough to chew. Be it chicken, beef or Stomach the peanut sauce is also good.

Lontong is ok, Mee Rebus is nice and Mee Bandung is also not bad.

You might need to wait for a table to be free up if you arrive late. That's kinda normal. But...
