Muar Cultural Walk — Attraction in Johor

As Muar-ian, I discovered Muar Town also produces quite similar to Penang's Armenian Street but its newer and I find it more attractive & beautiful murals compared to Penang version.

Truly clean and memories street to visit when...

It’s nice to see malaysian embracing malaysian culture and be proud of it. I was really impressed how they preserve the imperfections of buildings and portrayed malaysia perfectly 😂

Certainly a walk down memory-lane as my generation was able to experience the joy of being with the old school (traditional game; tenteng, congkak and batu seremban and pioneer of digital age (digimon/pokemon sticker collection book). A blessing for a millennial i would say.

Not sure what this was supposed to be when I visited back in Feb before the MCO. It seems to be a lane with lots of street art painted onto the walls. As the name suggests, most of the artwork are related to cultural and historical depictions of Malaysia and (mainly) Johor Bahru.

The lane is an interesting diversion, but it’s not quite as interesting or fun as the street art in places in Penang and Melaka. It’s worth a look if you’re visiting Muar and...
