Yew's Cafe & Bistro - Senibong Cove — Restaurant in Johor

I ordered a snack at 9:30pm and their staff took my order. Later another waiter came to me and asked me if I’m going to order anything else as they are about to close the kitchen and they told me they close at 10:30pm. I said no and I got my snack in the next couple of mins. In the midst of having my meal, the waiter came in and ask me to pay my bill because they want to close the cashier. Is it so hard for you to wait for your customer to finish their meal and ask for payment afterwards? If you were to ask for payment before I get my meal that’s fine, it’s a practise at certain F&B outlets. It’s really not a nice gesture from you guys. And I approached your manager to confront my frustration and he just said we are doing closing now and my staff will leave around 10:30pm. Not even a sorry? After all that, your manager just told me thank you. Thank you for not finishing my snack? It was a horrendous experience for me caused by the manager. Food is fine here but service is TERRIBLE!!

Worst experience when I came here during non-peak period (where there is barely 1-2 tables inside). I requested to have a look on the hard copy menu (which they have one at the reception). Then the foreign worker refused to just borrow me the menu, quoting they only have one copy. I told them I am with elderly who have difficulties looking at the e-menu, can we borrow the hard copy one for a while? They kind of don’t bother to say much (I assume they can not speak much English) and insisted us to use the e-menu. I highly urge the owner to seriously take into consideration on providing training to your workers! And please hire someone who can speak English / Malay in the restaurant! 西餐厅Restaurant is beautifully decorate for Christmas, and has nice view of sea. However as a expensive restaurant, the food is quite disappointed. Mozzarella stick from those supermarket and fastfood is tastier. Grill salmon about about rm50 is overcook and the portion is small. I've order a whole chicken leg. When it is serve, the leg is so small and it is obvious burnt. The waiter still insist the leg is burnt black because they used charcoal grill method so it should be like that after I give a feedback. They only serve again after I start getting mad.
