Thank Goodness Kluang has its own delicious mooncakes worthy of tourist's patronage and purchase! For a long time, people would only mention Yuen Fatt biscuits and the salted "Heong Peah" from Tong Ah biscuit factory. Enter this little shop which is now helmed by the proprietress and her daughter. They have even introduced sampling before buying, which is definitely an added advantage as most if us are attracted by the looks of the offering but are often mislead when it came to the taste. The speciality here is "Shanghai Mooncakes" - the pastry flaky, crispy and going easy on the digestive system. They are not too sweet and the "fresh out of the oven" whiff of smell is totally mesmerising to the senses. This year they have introduced their own home-made peanut biscuits and they did not hesitate to offer us samples even if we do not buy. Service is very prompt, attentive, informative and with a smile. Will go there every year to get their mooncakes as gifts for my family and friends

Very good mooncake which deviates from the traditional version, strong buttery crust and filling was unbelievably good! Not too sweet and really huge, they were generous with their mooncakes at only RM17 a piece. I bought the white lotus egg yolk ones, and I was pleasantly impressed. Fresh out of the oven too! Staff here were very friendly, and I had engaged with the lady boss via WhatsApp before coming - she was very patient and nice throughout, answering all my questions thoughtfully! A must try in Kluang in my opinion. Singaporeans always get their mooncakes from JB, but the mooncakes from this place are so much better. It's a confectionery who takes pride in their products. 10/10 recommendation.

Best Shang Hai moon cakes in Kluang which recommended by my local friends. Only lotus flavour is available other than Mid Autumn. RM47 for one box included four pcs. It is suggested you could pre-order before purchase since only limited mooncakes are provided. In general, lotus fillings is not so sweet and golden true butter skin is very crispy. As in pictures, lotus fillings almost occupied 80% of whole moon cakes!!! Compared to Yuan Fa, I prefer this so much. A little tips for foodie, please put in fridge if you are not able to consume it within three days. Reheat it in ten mins with 230 degree!

The Best Mooncake Bakery in Town

In the heart of our town lies one of the finest mooncake bakeries, renowned for its exceptional quality and dedication to the craft. The bakery stands out not only for its delicious mooncakes but also for the expertise displayed in every bite. With genuine ingredients and precise baking techniques, the mooncakes are characterized by their perfectly crispy skin and a delightful biscuit-like texture, achieving a level of quality that is truly commendable.

While the quality of the mooncakes is undoubtedly top-notch, the customer service can be somewhat challenging. The bakery has established several procedures that may come across as strict to some customers. However, these protocols are likely in place to maintain the high standards and efficiency that the bakery is known for. It is important to recognize that such practices are often designed to enhance the overall experience and ensure that every customer receives the best possible product.

One notable feature of this bakery is its willingness to accommodate special orders. Even outside the traditional mooncake festival season, the bakers are ready to create mooncakes for customers who place orders of eight pieces or more. This flexibility demonstrates their commitment to customer satisfaction and their passion for sharing their craft with a wider audience.

The humble nature of the bakery's owners, a dedicated husband and wife team, adds a personal touch to the experience. They are not only skilled in their business but also genuinely care about their customers. Their warm demeanor and willingness to engage with patrons create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience of visiting the bakery.

In conclusion, this mooncake bakery offers a remarkable blend of high-quality products and a sincere approach to customer service. Despite some procedural challenges, the dedication to the craft and the personal touch from the owners make it a standout choice for anyone seeking authentic mooncakes. Whether during the festival season or at any other time of the year, this bakery is sure to impress with its...
