I would like to express my dissatisfaction regarding the service at your outlet. I noticed that the time displayed on the door indicates that the premises are open from 8 am until 11 pm, but I was surprised to see your staff beginning to clean up at 8:45 pm. This created confusion as I had asked one of your staff members who took my order about the closing time, and she mentioned that the last order is taken at 9:30 pm.

My friend and I decided to stay in the premise until 9:30 pm as per the information provided, but during that time, your staff members were cleaning up the premises in a rude manner. They were loudly throwing chairs and playing the radio at a high pitch, which created a disruptive and unpleasant environment. I must note that this is not the first time I have encountered such behaviour at your outlet. We decided to leave the premise at 9.30 pm and continue chatting outside of the shop. And we witnessed that your outlet closes at 10pm.

As customers, we visit your outlet not only to enjoy good coffee/beverages but also to experience a level of professionalism and decent manners from your staff. We value the overall ambiance and service when choosing where to spend our money. Therefore, I kindly request that you address these issues and ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future. Furthermore, if your outlet indeed closes at 10 pm, I urge you to update and correct the text displayed on the door accordingly.

ZUS coffee is a chain that has been popping up all over Malaysia! Having seen this minimalistic, cleverly-branded, on the up and up cafe, I decided to give it a try at the Kulai outlet.

The coffee we got- a hot cafe lattè with salted caramel inside it, was amazing. The buttery, sweet, sticky, and phenomenal tasting caramel complimented the latte well. It was served at the right temperature; not so hot that it scalds, not too cold that it’s a turn off. Just warm enough for you to enjoy the caffeine hit!

Pros: Super clean and minimalistic environment. Very quiet as well- might be good for those who want to do some work, or catch up with friends.

Ample seating that is comfortable.

Diverse menu with a wide variety of good drinks. Don’t expect simple, no-nonsense drinks. They jazz up their classics quite a bit! The names sound very fun.

Prices are more affordable than starbucks, for sure.

Cons: Uh, location might be a little ulu to be honest. You definitely would be in the area if you drove over here. But there’s ample parking space in front so you don’t have to worry about it.

Baristas could be more friendly. A little too serious for my liking- that’s just me perhaps. :)

Overall, really enjoyed my coffee break here. Come...

My recent visit to this outlet on 25 September 2025. I ordered 2 drinks at 10:43 a.m. Four baristas, including the woman who handled my order, are visible at the counter. Upon ordered, I noticed one of the barista filled a cup with ice and "Ube" syrup or the mixer, then left the cup there for about twenty five minutes. The same barista then filled the same cup with expresso. By the time i got my drinks is around 11:15am. So imagine you waited for 2 drinks more than 30 minutes and you got a diluted drink. In the end i went back to the counter to inform, i got a diluted drink and have to throw it in the rubbish bin in front of the barista. Although the barista offered me another drinks, but honestly I'm not willing to wait for another 30 minutes.
