We were disappointed with our Chinese New Year dinner (CNY2025), despite it being our second visit to the restaurant. We ordered Peking roasted duck, fish with sours plum, shark fin soup, fried egg, vegetables, yam ring, and salad prawns.
We informed the staff that Peking roasted duck was served last. Unfortunately, the duck did not meet expectations. We shared our feedback with the staff, who mentioned to the manager.
However, when settling the bill, the response we received was unsatisfactory.
Given the premium pricing for CNY dishes, we believe the food quality should reflect its value. While we understand the increased customer traffic during this festive period, delays and waiting times are expected. However, it is crucial that the chef ensures the dishes are up to standard before serving them to customers.
The only positive was food is nice especially the fish with sour plum & that the Peking roasted duck we returned was removed from the bill, which we appreciated. Still, this experience left us...
