Whenever I drop by Kajang, Siaw Jia Spicy Soup is always a must-visit for me. Their signature spicy soup is packed with the bold flavors of ginger and pepper, giving not just heat but a comforting warmth that lingers with every sip. It’s the kind of soup that truly perks you up.

Another favorite is their pork with salted fish claypot, aromatic, full of wok hei and with just the right hint of spiciness, perfect to go with rice. Their oil dipped fish is also worth mentioning, tender and silky with a clean, smooth taste that balances out the stronger flavors...

The spicy soup's quality appears comparable to that of the establishment sharing the same name, and the pork tenderloin's value proposition seems questionable given its price. It is uncertain whether the two locations are under the same ownership; however, the staff's assertion of common ownership requires verification. The rationale behind operating three establishments in the same area remains unclear.

Service quality can be characterized as satisfactory.

The ambiance of this location is notably cleaner than that of the other...

We went at the wrong time where the restaurant was seriously understaffed and it was a public holiday. Waited for close to 2 hours for our food which we were served only part of the dishes ordered as the others were still being prepared. We had to cancel the remaining order as we had to leave for another appointment. The food was nice but we would appreciate a heads up from the restaurant staff when taking our orders of such situation so that we could avoid...

One pertinent advice for the restaurant owner is to review, especially the claypot noodles, on its heavy handedness on saltiness. Otherwise, the overall noodle types are quite acceptable on its uniqueness and softness of the belly pork and pig stomach slices. Like their sauteed brussel sprouts, which is served in its simplicity. Must try is their claypot belly pork slices with salted fish and black vinegar pig trotter.
