Next to Kajang satay, Hot Pepper Soup may be the next most popular food in Kajang. And Kee V is arguably one of the most popular places to try the dish.
Starting from humble beginnings in the Sg Chua New Village nearby, Kee V has grown to be almost a tourist attraction in Sg Chua. Their two Must Try dishes are the Hot Pepper Pork soup and the Claypot Wine Chicken/ Fa Diew Kai. Their hot pepper soup is on the milder side and not really my favourite but their Fa Diew Kai ticks all my boxes and is Highly Recommended. Thick black and fragrant gravy coating tender and moist pieces of chicken. Ideal for pairing with a bowl of hot steaming rice.
You can get the Hot Pepper Soup with Pan Mee or rice too. The pan Mee has a nice texture and bite and is recommended.
Not on their menu, and perhaps my own twist to their Fa Diew Kai is to douse some of the dry pan mee with the thick black chicken gravy. Mix it up and enjoy! I hope they put it on their menu in the future.
It gets crowded and busy at peak hours but service is prompt and food is usually on the table within 15 minutes...

Spicy soup turns salty
As the title suggested the spicy soup is just a little bit spicy, but quite salty. The contents for the soup are quite less with the price point of Rm 40. You can get much better price even in kl with better taste.
For 花雕鸡,I felt is really cooking properly, since the chicken meat feel quite raw. For thicker meat is actually not well cooked as you can see from the pic the bone is still filled with red blood. The taste is just very superficial and didn't go deep into the meat.
For 爆炸肉,explosive meat, is only mixed in all sauces , chillies . Mainly is heavy taste with some meat. Nothing fancy.
The rice is very rough, is like not enough water or the rice quality is low.
If you wanna try can visit. But I will not visit second time as it is nothing good for me...
