Heard about 'Food Valet' before. It is located somewhere after Kajang Toll and have to make a U-Turn before approaching Kajang Stadium. We booked a seat for 5 through a friend before leaving. The weather was bad. It rained heavily and traffic flow was slow than norm. We arrived slightly after 7pm and still drizzled. Some of the partons were greeted by RELA personnel, a good move by the management but not enough umbrellas for us😁. Upon arrival my daughters ordered theirs. I ordered mine but some of the fav food were off the menu as the outlets operated before lunch hour. Finally our food arrived after 20-30mins wait. We had Nasi Goreng Gila (big plates fried rice with prawns), Fish & Chips, Mee Kari, Char Koay Teow and Fried Koay Teow, Laksa and Burger Cheese Selambak! Char & Fried Koay Teow was cosiderably good, Nasi Goreng Gila was tasty but spicy. Laksa and Mee Kari was not to our taste. Finger sweet potatoes that comes with Fish & Chip was nice....
Read moreThe food is good and all although some are a bit pricey but the service crew is critically understaffed. Tables are left unclean since the cleaning staff have too much to handle already. Still, they work as hard while maintaining their manners unlike some places that hire rude people.
Not only that, maybe a policy here is that drinks will only be sent to you once you've finished your meal and after an unacceptably considerable wait. If you see people occupying a table eventhough they're done with their food, it's not that they're being inconsiderate but are just waiting for their drinks.
The place can get crowded easily thanks to the current hype this place holds at the moment while some seatings are completely unusable as the spot is infested with fire ants.
I'm not going to just put the blame on the workers since it's obviously due to incompetent management.
Does not recommend and is not worthy...
Read moreDo try the grill fish here. The price for a squid grill is RM25 for 2 pcs of medium size squid. For ikan pari it is RM17 for a medium size fish. The quality is really good. The seafood items were fresh and very tasty. The sambal is also very good, thick and rich but not too spicy. My children loves them very much. There are also satay baung, ikan patin, western food, ayam penyek, itik salai mashtar and lots more of yummy food menu. You won't regret it as the meals are simply wonderful and good for the whole family, even children. Parking however, is a tad difficult as you are required to park at the roadside and walk for a few hundred meters. Not really appealing if you have old folks or wheel chair bound persons...
