Satay that's definitely worth the wait in line. Meat is tender and flavorful - I recommend the satay daging (beef) and kambing (goat/lamb). The satay style is slightly different than traditional satay in a unique way, likely due to their meat marinade. Can't help but notice the hints of caramel with each bite, probably due to the caramelization of the sugars from the meat maride which makes this satay stand out so much, apart from its reddish, non-typocal satay color! Taste of the satay kuah (dipping sauce) is decent and they do serve a sufficient portion. The atmosphere of the Ramal Junction food court adds to the fun of dining here! Would definitely return and recommend!

In terms of COVID-19 SOPs, because it is a popular dining location and a big food court, it was crowded during my visit. Tables are outdoors but there's not a lot of spacing/social distancing between tables. Mask wearing is also pretty spotty, with most people not wearing a mask while they're sitting at their tables and with no one enforcing any rules strictly. Would not recommend coming here for anyone uncomfortable with large crowded areas. [review based on visit on October 16, 2021]

Readers do take note: a handful of reviewers here seem to be grouping/mixing their reviews/rating/opinions of Ramal Junction Food Court with that of Willy Satay, which could affect ratings & reviews on Willy Satay as a standalone dining establishment. Keep that in mind while reading...

Went to taste the satay here and not the most famous one in kajang because after going through the reviews, many commented that the satay sold by the most famous one has no quality so we decided to come here to taste the malaysias satay

Personally think that a satay cost about one ringgit is quite expensive but compared to others, the satay being sold here is thicker in size. Furthermore, the peanuts paste is quite tasty and being served in small bowl with adequate amount of it. The hawker is clever to have served the peanuts paste in a small bowl because only with this, we as his customers can dip the satay in to the peanuts paste to get a better taste of the mixture of satay and peanuts paste

On the other hand, at that open area also has other hawkers selling other food such as laksa johor, burger ayam, burger daging, benjor, sotong bakar, many kinds of nasi lemak, nasi...

In addition, there is a big screen at one of the corner of the area that they will project any live football matches or other movies for his customers to watch while enjoying their dinner

Moreover, beside the open area there is a large vacant land for you can park your vehicle so dont worry that you cannot find a place to park...

One of the best satays especially the chicken satay (it’s my personal favorite!). The taste didn’t change at all from what I’ve eaten from years ago. Do you know when you get this dry, very thin satay that looks unappealing and unappetising? Willy Satay is for sure not one of those 🤭 the kuah kacang was also very delicious, the sambal in the kuah kacang was quite spicy so you may want to omit if you’re not very tolerant. The cucumber was also very fresh and crunchy! I didn’t believe it myself when they paid attention even for the smallest detail haha. They removed the core so that it won’t be watery I believe even though personally I won’t mind but I still think that was nice. The service was good despite them being very popular and there was always long queue. The tapao system for leftover was also very hassle-free where they provided everything on a table so that customers can do it on their own without having to wait which I really appreciate. The ambiance was what you can expect for an outdoor food court and thankfully the seats were plenty. Thank you for...

Right after we left Warung Bunian, which is at Sungai Merab and bordering Kajang, my dear wife insisted that she wanted to have Satay Kajang!!😱😱😱 Nasir quickly checked for the location of Satay Mas, his favorite satay place where they serve all kind of meat on a stick...but unfortunately they are still closed for business. After all, it was only still 11:00 am!! But quick thinking Nasir immediately redirected us #teamikn towards Willy Satay, which had indicated that they were already open for business. We arrived there in 15 minutes, only to find that they had just barely opened, and were still preparing the satay!! My "wily" wife pleaded that we had come from a far distance, by pointing at Lid & Jue, and she was "willing" to wait, and Willy Satay eventually relented...🤭🤭 Surprisingly, the chicken and beef satay turned out to be among the best I have ever tasted!!😋😋😋 But, the foodcourt actually have many other stalls, serving various other interesting types of foods, but apparently, they are operating more in the evenings...we had got the timing terribly wrong!!☹☹☹

Few months back I had given them a good feed back but this time I really dissapointed. My friend & I have drove 1hour from KL to Willy satay. 10 sticks lamb & beef, 5 chicken.Total25 sticks. Then I went to order drinks.back yo my table, satay already on my table. Terrible..its cold..all are cold. Meat so hard...most of it unable to chew. My goodness. Really heartbroken with the satay. I wondering why they can serve faster then fast food. Not even 5 mins been serve.2nd thing I saw all staffs just relax standing at the bbq area. That time I'm still did not aware of it cos I had trusted them but I was wrong. This is not the right way of business to serve your customers cold food. I always knew that most of satay sellers in Kajang did prepare in advance.they usually bbq 1st & put aside.when customers order so they can serve faster & more customers. (I came back just because they don't do that when I'm 1st try them)Im just the unlucky one this time. An hour later I saw they start bbq new batch as more people to come. I won't go back to them again.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the satay, highly recommended by a friend of mine, promising us it is a must-try satay in KL. It is definitely an alternative to the well-known Samuri satay in Klang. The queue for this satay is always long, which is a testament to its popularity. Fortunately, they have implemented a sytematic ordering system which greatly helping in the purchasing process. When my order finally arrived, I was impressed by the portion size - the skewers were generously loaded with meat. But the real star of the dish was the taste. The meat was perfectly grilled, with a smoky flavor that was enhanced by their homemade marinade. The satay was then served with their signature peanut sauce, which was smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness. Overall, the satay hidden in a food court, within the kampung exceeded my expectations. It was a delicious alternative to the more famous Samuri satay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great satay experience in Klang/Kuala Lumpur.
