Mykori - Sungai Petani — Restaurant in Kedah

If you're thinking of treating yourself or loved ones, do it someplace else. Or just buy some ice-cream from a local mart. That would still be better than mykori. This place is basic. With basic interior that doesn't stimulate nor depress you. When I first entered, I felt wrong-footed, like I had entered the wrong shop that should've served nasi ayam and not dessert. But I wanted the food to speak for itself and it was worse.

We had a melon bingsoo and oreo bingsoo. Pretty basic menu selections that couldn't go wrong. But it did. You expect milk bingsoo priced at an average rm13 per small bowl (think ice kacang bowl minus the ice-cream) and rm25 per large bowl(which is twice the size) would be shaven iced milk. Nope, here at mykori, its shaven ice plus milk. While the shaven ice is fine, it did not "melt like snow" in your mouth like every other famous brands that sells their bingsoo at the same price range.

While the bingsoos are prettily assembled, i had a hard time trying to get my kid brother to finish his oreo bingsoo. The chocolate sauce tasted cheap on the bingsoo. While the melon bingsoo which i wasted rm26 on managed to taste mildly acceptable only when eaten with roasted almond flakes which they sprinkled very lightly and lasted for up to 4 bites. And while they serve the melon bingsoo in a melon bowl, I hope others have better luck than I did if they ate the bowl cuz I ended up scraping bad melon flesh that stinks in my mouth. We had to wait for our food but it was not an issue as the staff told us before we ordered that we would have to wait for approximately half an hour or more due to high number of orders. I had the biscoff cheesecake shaved ice bingsu. It was really good, the biscoff sauce was excellent , really thick. The almond tiramisu cake was allright, not too sweet but there was a slight bitter taste at the bottom of the slice. The dark chocolate frappe that I had was to die for, it was so thick and had an authentic chocolate taste. This actually felt like authentic chocolate rather then then the cheap cocoa powder taste that we get sometimes when ordering chocolate frappe. Kita mesti support bisnes Bumiputera especially MyKori Sungai Petani ni, duit yang kita bayar untuk setiap hidangan, akan disalurkan kepada orang yang memerlukan..

Jadi, jikalau ada kekurangan & kekhilafan yang anda terima sewaktu anda makan di sana, sudah pasti owner akan melakukan pembaikan.. Mohon kalian maklumkan saja kepada owner..Owner sentiasa mendengar keluhan anda..

Di dalam bidang bisnes, pelanggan tetap di anggap seperti "RAJA" kerana pelanggan membayar untuk setiap produk kan.. Akan tetapi, mohon gunakan ayat tersebut di dalam situasi & keadaan yang sesuai.. Tidak semua boleh pukul rata..
