Came here to try out nasi kandar in SP. First impression: I would say the taste is a bit unfamiliar to nasi kandar in Penang island where I live.
Taste-wise it's nice to eat, but it is just different from the nasi kandar that I am used to. The spices used in the curry are not as strong and hardly pack a punch. The gravy (kuah) is more of the watery (ceroi) type than the thick (likat) type. The Ayam ros is juicy and tender but it lacked the intense spiciness. Daging hitam is more akin to the malay style daging masak kicap but it is still acceptable. Maybe this style suits the local SP crowd.
Environment: The place has nice interior. Comfortable seating arrangements. There's a surau here, so it's easy if need to pray. Drinks are good and sent by a robot.
Overall the nasi kandar was decent but just don't expect the taste to be the same as penang...

Service wise is pretty bad from staffs, very slow services. Usually takes me about average of 20 minutes minimum to get my nasi kandar. Had experience where I stood at first in line and still took them 10 mins to serve me (it was not busy at the time). Phone call service is not helpful as I have to order minimum 10 portion to be serve. Suggest to improve...
