This is a cute family-run café in Botanic Klang. I really love their service - always warm and they’re super attentive to kids, which makes it a nice spot for families.
It’s hard to find good coffee and matcha in Botanic (especially when we're talking about Muslim-friendly cafes in this area), but so far I’ve enjoyed their iced latte and matcha latte a lot. If you do drop by, don’t miss their homemade tarts - our favs are the matcha strawberry tart and the dark chocolate tart. Cake wise, you should definitely try their coffee buttercream cake.
Food wise, they’re consistent in quality. Our fam favs are the seafood risotto, grilled chicken chop and chicken katsu rice. I do think they could improve on their pasta selections though - the bolognese tasted a bit too sweet/generic for me.
Only thing I’d wish for with the space they have, it’d be great if they could add a small play area for kids since Botanic doesn’t have a proper play café yet (we usually end up going to PJ or KL for that).
Overall, it’s a cozy café with good food, great desserts and warm people. Definitely one of the gems in...
Read moreI quite like the food here. It taste "clean". The way I like food to be. Not too much unwanted seasoning, and the ingredients are fresh. You taste what each ingredients should taste like.
We ordered the curry chicken rice. The curry is fragrant, but not too strong green curry. The only thing I feel a little uncomfortable about is the chicken seems to taste very "chickeny". Not frozen smell, but probably because of the chicken skin. Or probably the green curry flavor could be stronger to mask the "chicken" taste.
The egg toast (we add on sausage and avocado) is good. The sourdough bread is not the best we have tasted, it is a little dry.
I love my fish and chip. The fish batter is super crispy. The fries are good too. Very fresh and well seasoned. Their greens (salad) is seasoned with simple lemon juice and salt which is the type of sauce I like on my salad.
Portion is just nice for the price. Hope for more variety of...

a cafe with nice coffee scent + hotel scent. decoration : simple, minimalist. ambience : relaxing.
food : good, very good. Yet to visit to try out more food on their menu.
ordered teriyaki chicken rice : rice is well cooked, and terriyaki sauce is just enough to wet the rice for flavouring. Chicken, well done, the egg on top is a bomb.
ordered also currywurst chicken. (Chicken maryland). Fries is special (just that i prefer it plain. Their fries come with sprinkles of salt and pepper)
drinks : did not get the chance to try out their drinks as im breastfeeding (have some limitations to coffee & tea & dairy)
staff : attentive, polite.
cakes : shared burnt cheesecake, good, yummy. Moist enough at the centre. The taste of cheese is strong.
Remember to check their opening hours before...
