I returned for the second time because of the sour and spicy fish. They have an ongoing promotion, but the taste remains consistently delicious and flavorful. It doesn’t leave your mouth feeling thirsty.
I also ordered a few other dishes, including dumplings, cold appetizers, and pumpkin cake. The 辣子鸡 (Spicy Chicken) could be improved—the portion size is quite small, with most pieces being as tiny as dice. Despite the abundance of dried chilies, the dish lacked spiciness.
The dumplings were unique, though I’m not sure which regional Chinese recipe they follow. They contained a generous amount of carrots and vegetables, with light seasoning—just right.
The stir-fried long beans were excellent, cooked with minced meat, dried chili, and what I believe to be mustard greens.
For the cold appetizers, I tried sliced pork and chicken with chili oil. Both were moderately flavored, but the accompanying sauce was plentiful.
The pumpkin pancake was about 1.5 cm thick with a bit of red bean paste inside. It wasn’t too sweet and was fried with sesame, giving it a great texture. I liked it so much that I ordered a second portion!
Overall, the food was great, and I would definitely come back again. The service was good and very attentive. Communication in both Chinese and English was smooth. The environment was comfortable and not too crowded, likely because I dined on a...
Read moreMy family and I recently dined at this Sichuan cuisine restaurant, and it stands out as one of the best in Klang Valley. While the prices are slightly premium, the quality and portion sizes justify the cost—truly a case of "you get what you pay for."
The spicy grilled fish was a highlight—perfectly cooked with a bold, flavorful sauce that packed just the right amount of heat. The shredded cabbage was fresh and well-balanced, while the eggplant, and lamb dishes were all executed beautifully, each delivering authentic Sichuan flavors.
The only minor letdown was the griddle pork ribs (only bones?), which didn’t quite meet the high standard set by the rest of the meal. That said, the overall experience was outstanding, making this restaurant a must-visit for fans of bold, authentic Sichuan cuisine.
Highly recommended for its generous portions, vibrant flavors, and consistent quality—just maybe...
Read moreWanted some comfort food during this mco and was looking for mapo tofu which many shops didn't have on Grab. So noticed this shop had it & I decided to order. I ordered something called soya sauce rice as well to go along with it. Food came on time & was decently packed. Ok basically the fried rice was just egg fried rice. I expected a few pieces of chicken at least but I guess that's my fault for assuming so. The mapo tofu for me was a big letdown though. It has the authentic look and taste was ok but i didn't see any mince meat in it. Unless this is a variation I would expect the tofu to come with it kan but it wasn't. It wasn't labelled as a vegetarian version either. So anyway despite taste being ok I doubt I would physically come to this shop. Haiz...
