Yat Pan Dim Sum (Botanic) — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

Was around Botanic area in Klang and was looking for a breakfast place and came across this dim sum place while Googling. First impression though wasn’t too good as the place seems rather rundown on the outside and not too clean. There were no customers seated outside and as I entered there were few tables occupied inside. However the aircon was cold inside so I sat outside. Menu wise I wouldn’t say it has a lot to offer but most popular dim sum types are available. What I noticed though is prices are steep as most dim sum were priced above Rm5 each. I understand there’s been a lot of price increase and even the popular Jin Xuan dim sum franchise had seen sharp price increases. Anyway I just ordered two items - char siew cheung fun & the stir fried radish cake. Both items were quite good & tasted delicious but not outstanding. Service was prompt. While I didn’t tried much food to offer a more accurate review, my opinion is the food should be about 3.5-4/5 but I didn’t like was the high prices that didn’t really matches the rundown...

Went for breakfast on 03/02/2022 morning. Waited for almost 1/2 hour but there was proper queue mgmt.

Food was above average. The yam puff is a must try. Slightly pricey.

However, the toilet (shared), one of it's floor trap was clog & waste water was almost overflowing into the common area where the wash basins are. BTW, one of the wash basin does not have a tap. So only one wash basin is useable. The wall tiles are stained. Likely the toilets have not be properly clean for quite a while. No available toilet papers.

I would want to go again but the toilet is a complete put off. In any food establishment, toilets are of equal importance as with other cleanliness, hygiene, service, etc.

I inform the counter but not sure if this toilet issue was resolve...

The food is acceptable and the price is slightly above the average. From my last visitation they did give me one coupon which is expired on 25/1 but the coupon state didnt include the public holiday so if in this case they should amend the expiry date to 24 or 26 instead of 25 confusing me and just waste my time all along the way come to here...... TBH during 1st time their food did surprise me but after that the food quality become poor (the taste become bland, last time I ordered 芝士腐皮卷 the cheesee......only last bite I cn felt the cheese and this is the new serve as at the first bite I thought they served me the normal one instead of the one I ordered with cheese) tbh tdy come just...
