Tried Shawarma 99, Foody Avenue KK12. Their shawarma is generous! Also recommend their nasi hujan panas with ayam masak merah (rainbow Rice with Chili Chicken) —only RM9, but the portion is so huge it’s enough for two people! The rice is colourful, fluffy, and fragrant. The chicken was tender and rich with flavorful gravy. It even comes with a boiled egg and lots of sauce—super satisfying.

What’s great is you can see them prepare your plate fresh in front of you. Clean setup, friendly staff, and open till late around 10pm-ish.

If you're looking for a Middle Eastern-Malaysian combo that's tasty and affordable, this is the place!

My S.O. took me here for the green abomination, ayam penyet with green sambal. The chicken was nicely fried, crispy outside, juicy inside, not oily at all, pairs so well with the fragrant green sambal. So SPICY! So DELECTABLE! I don’t think I can find a spicier dish in this land. Maybe I haven’t, but it was so good. My S.O was in sweats and tears but he eventually nailed the spiciness of the dish and enjoyed it to the fullest. Eating environment was good but the service at the Thai cuisine is really bad plus the cooking was not good. There was this one time where I heard someone who is in the charge of cooking the food got angry and called their customers stupid because the customer complained that he orders different type of food. At the end, the one who's in fault is the one in charge with the service counter. Literally playing phone while receiving the customer order. No wonder they got the order's wrong. Very...
