I came across this place after seeing a video online showcasing their noodles and decided to see if it tastes as good as it looks. We ordered their recommended noodles namely the meehoon in pickled vegetable soup with milk that was served with a plate of deep fried patin fish slices. Additionally, we placed an order for their meehoon soup with kampung chicken and pig stomach. The pickled vegetable soup was appetising and I love the hint of XO flavors while the milk helped to add some richness to the soup. I was also pleased with the meehoon because it's texture was springy and bouncy. I do however wished that the soup came with more ingredients or garnishings as it looked very underwhelming and comparing it to my favourite fish noodle shop, they lack in its share of ingredients used. Moving on to the deep fried patin slices which I thought was the highlight because the it wasn't overly coated in batter but delightfully light and crispy to every bite. As for the kampong chicken and pig stomach meehoon soup, it turned out to be a average tasting bowl of noodles. Overall, I thought the star dish here would be their deep fried patin fish noodle soup but having said that, I still think there are room for improvement as I still prefer my other favourite fish noodle restaurant...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that has quickly become one of my favorites. The food at this establishment is simply amazing, but there is one dish in particular that I can't get enough of - the Milk Spicy Soup with Fresh River Prawn Noodles(辣味奶香生蝦面).
This dish is an absolute must-try, and I make a point to order it every time I visit this restaurant. The broth is creamy and spicy, and the fresh river prawn noodles are the perfect complement. The flavors are bold and delicious, and I find myself thinking about this dish long after I've left the restaurant.
One thing to keep in mind is that this restaurant can get quite crowded on weekends, so it's worth visiting during the week if you're looking to avoid the crowds. During weekday lunch hours, there are typically fewer people and you can enjoy your meal in a more relaxed atmosphere. However, if you have the time to wait, visiting on the weekend is still worth it - the food is just that good.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and especially the Milk Spicy Soup with Fresh Shrimp Noodles. If you're a fan of bold, flavorful food, you won't be...
