Was there on a busy Sunday evening to have dinner with family. Stood next to two tables with a lone patron each who have finished their food and taking their own sweet time with their drinks. No worries, can't expect common courtesy these days.
So there I stood with my bike, waiting for one of the tables to be vacant. The waiters passed by me multiple times, and never bothered to tend to me, if I was waiting for takeaway, a seat, etc.
The moment my family members arrived, we saw a vacant table and made our way there. The moment I was about to sit down, the few waiters who have seen me for the past 10 minutes developed a sudden interest to serve me, or so I thought.
I was asked to leave my bike outside in am impatient tone, and one of them escorted me towards the entrance. Great, I did survey the entrance earlier and there was nowhere I could leave my bike, unless you count leaning it against the Vietnamese food stall, which I sure will irk the young chap busy cooking behind the glass panel.
When I reached the entrance, I turned around to ask where I should leave my bike, only to see that the concerned chap has abandoned me long ago to tend to his work. My patience was running short, I went back in and tried looking for a spot to leave my bike without obstructing anyone.
The concerned chap saw me again and raised his voice telling me "CANNOT, CANNOT". I responded in return, asking him how long he has ignored me when I was waiting for a spot earlier, and that they were clearly more interested in keeping the existing tenants happy, than tend to incoming customers. Maybe it's less work for them that way?
Anyway, stormed out of the venue with family in tow, and I will never step foot in this establishment ever again. Their loss, food's...

This is a One Malaysia food stall with mixture of everything from Malay, Chinese, Indian, Thai to Japanese food. Went during supper time... to try their signature Fried Oysters Egg (Oh Chien) 4.5 🌟 which was delicious...but note that it's different from those crispy type. I like it personally as it is thin and has less flour with more meat. They also serve lala egg and Prawn egg. Near this place, there's another Aneh Nasi Lemak (4.5 🌟) which is super famous around this area which we tapau. They are famous for their fried chicken 🐔 Nasi lemak.
There's a lot of mixed varieties here a d we Tried other stuffs like wantan mee (3 🌟) which was decent but the fried Wantan was too hard. The Rojak (4 🌟) was pretty good too. The Thai food (4 🌟) here is spicy but nice and flavourful. We tried the spicy Pattaya fried rice. Surprisingly the BBQ chicken wings (3 🌟) was just so so.. Looks perfectly roasted but the taste is pretty mild. Price is cheap here but parking is a big hassle.

Read moreLooking for variety at 11.30pm? Look no further as goa lou mamak offers almost everything you can ask for. Mamak food to western pork/chicken chop to Eastern soup noodles and a small assortment of dim sum( char siew pau is DEFINITELY in the list) Off and on you get people who would ask if you want to buy fruits or asking for donation. But if you could see past all that. Gao lou is a place to hang out. Especially during the foot ball season coz they open till 4am. One catch. No alcohol sold. But. Ask for teh Tarik! The must-try drink in KL. Their roti garing (crunchy pratha) is good too. I always order yee mee or pan mee from the mamak as it is good. Chicken chop too. Price wise. Doesn't make your wallet cry that's for sure. You could bring a group of 10 for reasonable meals and still pay below 100 or a little past $100 depending on...
