So I decided to grab breakfast here because I have cravings for the usual morning Hainanese styled cuisines. This time around we ordered the signature char siew or barbecued pork won ton noodles and also the famous nasi lemak ayam goreng berempah. It was a weekend morning and while it wasn't exactly super crowded, it somehow took quite some time for them to prepare my noodles. My friend got his nasi lemak first and I got to have a little taste of some of the essential ingredients which were the sambal and the ayam goreng. The sambal was a letdown because it was somewhat watery and failed to bring that fiery flavorful kick. To make things worse, it was served cold. Don't get me wrong, I know sambal isn't meant to be served piping hot but this one here tasted colder than most sambal offerings elsewhere. At first, the chicken turned out to be pretty decent with its moist drumstick meat but then my friend later found out that it was undercooked on the inside with evident fresh blood. We brought this up to the staff and she offered to replace it with one serving of siew yoke. Interestingly her quick but unsurprised reaction made it look as if cases like this had occurred before. The siew yoke wasn't anything great either. As for my won ton noodles, the char siew were bit too dry with almost no fat to balance out the chewiness of the meat. Sadly the noodles lack that good spring and bounce. Overall, both dishes turned out to be rather dissapointing and improvements are highly recommended. Thankfully their coffee...

This is like a neighbourhood place for lots of people coming to this shop, including me! The food is really nice especially the wantan mee. And after coming here for multiple times, I am still eager to try out other variety they are offering. The pastries is great like egg tarts or the chicken bun. If you have several people coming to savour this place, try different dishes like nasi lemak with fried chicken. They are very generous with the curry gravy and potatoes.. I must say the serving is big. I also quite like their kampar noodles & curry noodles. And as the shop name suggests, their signature is coffee and it is super duper thick (kaw kaw!! No joke) even their tea is also similar standard. For those of you that can't take the challenge, ask for the thin version (less kaw). They have other food which is for whoever reading this to explore. Some items are sold out early in the morning, so go early the next round if you can't get what you want the 1st time. Also my recommendation is that you could try to explore parking behind the store instead of the front. Is almost impossible to get...

First time visiting, an unassuming shop that I often pass by driving, never really had a chance to stop as parking is often impossible to get.

What's super surprising about this shop is how deep it is, it feels like a 1 story long house with plentiful seating, what's even more surprisingly is the display cabinet of old ornaments found in the back rooms that also offers seating, nostalgic vibes that just screams traditional, great 😃!

The food is served rather quickly and the drinks are well packaged with big portions. The Chee Chong Fan is silky wrapped with rich curry broth while the wan tan Mee noodles are also flavourful with a sweet accent, great!

The steam bun's accommodating butter is nice but the bun itself is meh. The kampung eggs are standard which is nice, soft and creamy yolk.

Overall, a great place to come for coffee and relax.

Thank you for reading...

This outlet exude quite some history and having multiple branches. Drop by for a quick simple bite. Decent Asian fare like nasi lemak, fried wantan, homemade noodles and a selection of kopi & teas. Reasonable price and taste overall. Their pastries are quite popular but we opt out this round.
