Mill Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Unfortunately, the bread and cakes are not that great. I bought a loaf of bread the other night not realising the expiration date was that same day. As you can expect, there were moldy spots on it the next evening when I wanted to toast up a midnight snack. The madeleine I bought had a longer expiration date but tasted not good. I bought a whole red velvet cake with so-called butter cream and I was left disappointed after a bite - the buttercream was blah (tasted like margarine and sugar instead of real butter and sugar) which was a downer as that small cake was RM80++; the crumbly red velvet tasted stale and dry. The bakery is in a prime location and just seems sad that the goods are subpar. I hope the owners take notice and improve...

We didn’t know this is a cafe as we thought they only sells bread and cakes . Our friend brought us here and to our surprise , their food is really nice . They have many choices of bread and cakes . And hot food , the sell local and western dishes such as pizza ,chicken chop , soup, finger , ramen , rice .. etc . Price is reasonable and they have 2 floors seating . Both indoor and outdoor . Very spacious and quiet if you want to have some privacy. The place is clean and staff are super friendly and nice . Love their chocolate cake . The cake is so fluffy and the chocolate cream is so creamy and not too sweet . We spent a had an evening here with our friend ....

Food was good. Ordered banana french toast and it was heavenly.

Coffee was black Americano and it tastes just like any other Americano.

Service was so so, but it was quick. The waiter had some difficulty understanding my order at first (perhaps he was an intern/newbie).

Toilet was not working. So major minus point for this. The flushing system didn't work properly for both ladies and gentlemen's rooms. I was asked to use the gents one because the ladies rooms flush didn't work at all.

Note to management: pls look into the toilet situation.

Price of the food and drink was affordable. I spent 26 myr for my order.
