Oh Tea | Laman Rimbunan — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This whole week, we were craving for some good lamb chops. So we decided to try out this western food joint in the Kepong area after seeing some promoted videos in Socmed.

The restaurant located in a shop lot was comfortable enough, but the night we went was a little busy and noisy with 2 groups of ladies doing their catch-up thingy.

For mains, we ordered grilled lamb shoulder with aglio spaghetti and grilled chicken salad. Both came with hearty proportions. The grilled chicken salad was very nice with a refreshing sesame dressing. It's not too sweet and heavy, but it hit the palate with its tangy twist. Chef definitely got it right! The true positive of this plate was the generosity of the portion and the quality of the vegetables. It's definitely a hit and value for money.

The grilled lamb shoulder was a little overdone, but i suppose frozen cuts of meat have a propensity to be challenging for the chef. It was ok, not fantastic, but then this restaurant is a localised version of Western food joints.

I may be back to try the platter to share with friends. Look interesting. Even the smoked duck aglio olio... but then i am very partial to smoked duck meat.

I suppose at the end of the day, for any restaurant.....the target market and audience is key. Families can eat in comfort. So yeah....this is definitely a family dining restaurant with reasonable food at affordable prices.

The wait for the food is horribly long, even though there's isn't a lot of customers ordering food.

Initially I wanted to give 0 star but I added 1 more since the pasta is pretty good and teriyaki chicken turned out ok. However I don't like it when you asked if we could accept the change in food to chicken Maryland with pasta because you have given my son's grilled chicken chop to the next table. Then it start going downhill from here.

My wife's salted egg chicken chop came out cold. I suspect you try to reuse the chicken Maryland from the next table order that we rejected 15 minutes ago. Next came my son's chicken chop. I was surprised that it came with pasta instead of fries like chicken chop should be. This further strengthen my suspicion that you were reusing the earlier rejected dish. I was too tired to complain anymore after waiting more than 1 hours for it since my son is really hungry from all these waiting.

The staffs are very friendly but I don't think this could make up for the lengthy wait as well as the lousy attempt to reuse a wrongly delivered order from next table. Would not consider another...

Affordable price n big portion. Taste so so to ok. Waffle is a bit hard. There is free jiggly pudding if review 5* which is cheating but I was given free before without review once (been here a few times). Prefer this outlet to Manjalara branch as it's more convenient via MRT Kepong Baru. If order tea, staff will display the brown paper on how to use the cup n drink tea. Limited tables hv charging port on the wall. Mix of fusion local n western food + keto.

Good for groups, can arrange long table. Ok for solo n 2 ppl too. Hv baby chair n huge teddy bear deco.
