We recently dined at Q House and decided to try their Stingray Asam with rice. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming, especially when compared to their other branch at Taipan and Puchong.
The Stingray Asam was just below average in taste and presentation. It lacked the depth of flavor and spice that I was expecting, and it didn’t measure up to the quality I've enjoyed at the Taipan branch. Additionally, the portion of Lady Finger (okra) was extremely disappointing. I received only a few tiny pieces, seemingly from just one small lady finger... Come on la, it cost you how much for provide at least 1 ~ 3 actual size okra.? Imagine if you get similar portions, then only give your valuable comment to my post. This sparse serving did not enhance the meal and left much to be desired.
Furthermore, when we asked for a baby chair, the staff seemed to have forgotten our request, and we had to remind them after 10 minutes.
The dessert was another letdown. Not even the kids wanted to finish it, which is quite telling. Which kids don't like dessert? The moment they don't want to finish it, faham-faham la...
Lastly, I tried the Baked Cheese Maryland. I was puzzled by the addition of tomato sauce—it was downright disgusting and ruined the dish. I have no energy to snap pictures, really tired with such "shocked" combination.
Overall, our experience at this Q House was less than satisfactory. We hope they can improve their consistency and quality to match the standards of their...
Read moreIt was so bad.
Food was really below average. I have never tasted chicken with such a bad smell. We ordered pickled vege soup with chicken and pork tripe. The chicken has a foul smell to it, like the smell from meat that never been cleaned properly. Remember this is already a pickled vege soup and it still doesn’t cover the bad smell from the chicken, can u imagine if the soup is of lighter taste?
The attitude. We also ordered stir-fry peppercorn chicken, the menu itself said it’s stir-fry (炒雞), but turned out it’s fried chicken. We asked if this is a wrong order, and the manager came and said this is their SOP to all their chicken (that is not in soup), with a very UNAPOLOGETIC face the manager repeated 3x that this is their SOP, only when we said that the menu wording is totally different from what we get then he RELUCTANTLY offered for us to change it to something else.
We ordered 3 items and all are not available. But it’s alright, we can change. BUT YOU SHOULDN’T BE CHARGING US! the bill came and we didn’t really check, trusting the system, we paid the bill. Then when we checked we realised they charged us one of the item they said not available (and we already changed to something else). SO GUYS PLS CHECK YOUR BILL if you were to dine in here but i suggest you not to visit here at all.
Overall this is not recommended unless you want to have an unforgettable miserable dining...
Read moreA all-in-one restaurant with Chinese, Western, Asia & Japanese food plus they have dessert & a variety of drinks. Yam Mix Fruits ice desserts is not sweet but the best part is they provide lots of yam paste to go with the bland milk ice to at least provide a thick textured shaved ice although light in overall taste; yam ball is also light in taste & fruits is okay. The 3 flavour chicken has all the looks and ingredients but lack taste (light in taste) but at least there's more gravy; the best 3 flavour chicken is still from Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant (Mid Valley), here they fail to bring out the taste. Chicken Maryland has sufficient cheese covering the top with the rest being chicken skin & flour; it lacks meat as if it's meatless. All in all is a place with huge variety of food plus there is dessert, which is complete however taste is slightly below average. Another problem, the seating at the main area can be hot as they will leave the main door open at times where the A/C air go out & external hot air goes in, which is not comfortable. There is limited...
