Well, I agreed with everybody said. The environment and ambient of this place are awesome. Perfect for every occasion, to sit, hangout and chillax. When it comes to food and drink 🤦‍♂️. Price wise, it is overrated. Taste wise, it is not up to expectation for the price tag. Let’s go for the first item, classic aglio olio (smoke duck), plating looks good but look at the portion for RM27. Taste of aglio olio only 10%, the rest covered by duck taste. When I tasted on first bite, i thought it is “pan mee” noodle 😂. If it use standard thin spaghetti, it would be much better. Since the taste of aglio olio too less, when they added some cheese, it ruining the taste even more. Second item, Vivo Mexico. Surprisingly I get with chicken leg 😂. I love the chicken texture, so tender and very soft when I slice it but the taste, it is plain and almost tasteless, just salty. The mix with jalapeño and pineapple are great and acidic, remind me taste like “acar” lol, also get a thin slice of corn 😂. in the end the based of the it, less than so so, that cost RM38. Come to drink, fragrance lychee. Nothing special, just some tea mix with lychee flavour. Based on the price list for the drink and yes, little bit pricey compare to other cafe which has similar environment. So overall experience I would say very good environment and like fine dining but just selling environment as the food not up to standard expectation. With the total price that being paid, I think chilli’s food is better and little bit cheaper. There some improvement can be made. Definitely shop not going to make changes on the price so it has to be improved in food taste...

Celebrated dotter's 21st birthday with a group of 10+1 kid. Was impressed with the reviews and feedback on birthday celebrations so booked for 7 pm.

The group ordered: Karaage White Bait ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - delicious lightly battered white fish Loco Supreme ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - thought mango salsa was dhall (odd) Truffle Mushroom Soup ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - excellent flavor profile with a touch of herbs Golden Curried Mushroom Soup ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - interesting flavors but a tad too strong on the curry flavor Feta Pumpkin Salad ⭐⭐ - good salad mix but balsamic vinegar dressing was too heavy. Vege was drenched should serve dressing on the side Truffle Mushroom Pizza ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⁹⁹ - delicious! Can't go wrong on this. Highly recommended. The Gathering x 2 (various pork items platter) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - excellent platter but roasted pork crust a bit too hard Wagyu Meatballs Pomodoro ⭐⭐⭐ - sauce did not have beef flavor, a tad on the sweet side. Fell below expectations this one Kiddie Mac & Cheese ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - deliciously cheesy and never thought we would say this but a bit over the top on the cheese. Roast Pork Platter ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - complimentary birthday treat. Appreciated this. Thank you SMORES BJ!

A suitable place for a romantic dinner, first date, or an anniversary

There is 3 parts to sit: the inner part with music, the inner part without music, and an outside part The music might not suit the taste for some, so I’d recommend the middle of the three if you want a better atmosphere for a date If it’s a family, just take the former, no mosquitoes But overall, the atmosphere is quite pleasant, a personal 5/5 for me

Price? Quite expensive, expect RM40-60 per person, but the food does live up to its price

The salmon is prepared quite well, no fishy taste at all(compared to some other cafes), Tatar tastes quite nice, but it’s alright, not too mind blowing

Duck and kumquat and pumpkin is a combination that’s quite appetising, the sourness complements the salty, fragrant flavour of the duck (don’t eat the duck alone, it’s quite salty, also tell them no radishes) I’d recommend the duck (RM38 before taxes)

Service is stellar, waiter is always on standby, cleanup if swift. I’d give it a 5 star if I’d ordered any drinks at the bar
