This restaurant specializes in crab dishes, and it’s definitely worth a visit! I came on a weekday, and it was already quite busy, so I was glad I arrived early. They had some great promos: spend RM168 on crab dishes and get FREE boiled prawns, or spend RM150 on other dishes and get FREE cake. We were so lucky to enjoy both deals! Here’s what we ordered:
🦀️ Salted Crab: The moment it arrived, the aroma was irresistible! The crabs were big, fresh, and juicy, with a perfectly balanced salty sauce.
🦐 FREE Boiled Prawns: Fresh and succulent, the simple preparation preserved the prawns’ natural sweetness. A quick dip in the sauce made it even better.
🥯 Fried Mantou: Golden and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. It paired perfectly with the salted crab sauce.
🥘 White Pepper Vegetable and Clam Soup: A light yet flavorful soup, with just the right amount of white pepper kick. The veggies and clams were super fresh.
🐟 Claypot Yellow Wine African Fish: The fish was tender and infused with the fragrant yellow wine sauce. The claypot cooking added an extra depth of flavor.
🥚 Thai-Style Crab Meat Omelette: The combination of crab meat, egg, and tangy Thai seasoning was a winner. The texture and flavor were spot on!
🥩 Sweet and Sour Pork: Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a well-balanced sweet and sour glaze.
To top it off, we got a FREE slice of mille crepe cake, which was a delightful ending to a fantastic meal.
The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable, and the service was attentive and friendly 💁. If you’re a fan of crab and other delicious dishes, you’ve got to check this...
Read moreFood is ok. But overall super pretentious of a place. The restaurant is not busy, no reserved placeholders but you ask me whether i have reservation? ermm…ok. Then the fella who i assume is the manager or front of the house (name starts with M, wears glasses) while taking order seems to be super distracted and impatient. Asks while you are order crab - whether you have a voucher then only promotes you - if you buy 2 crabs (a set) they will free a poached(?) prawn…and top up rm18 for other cooking methods. Then crab wasn’t hammered thouroughly so using the “clamps”? “clips”? was hard because the shell is sharp…so when you ask for hammer …forget it bring your own - because according to the Mr. M, they dont give hammers. why? i would think is not classy enough for them. Then never change plates for customers when its piled high with shells. Like hello? Crass orange “hermes” tissue holders really adds to the pretentious “atas” vibe they try to pass off. Once again food is ok ok. Though lala was quite sandy. But attiitude is...
Read moreMy first time trying this crabhouse. I have heard a lot of positive reviews of this brand and place. It says open at 11am. However at 11:30am the workers were still having their lunch before starting work. We ordered and food didn't take long to be served. The signature most popular creamy salted egg crab turns out to be OK only for me. It was just served on a plate without any warmer below. The creamy gravy became cold very quickly and it was not nice to eat then. The peanut glazed pork ribs with yam ring was nice and special. The XO chicken was average. The 2 flavoured prawns were ok. The rest of the dishes were just mediocre. We were given a plate of complementary steamed prawns. It was quite generous of the restaurant. Overall the seafood served here is very fresh. That is one thing good here. However the cooking standards and taste still have room for improvement. Also it was a torture getting a parking here during lunch time. Best to take a taxi...
