Restoran Ju Xiang Seafood — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Came across this restaurant in Google and decided to try it for my father in law’s birthday dinner.

We ordered jiong jing tilapia fish, seafood hotplate, salted egg sotong, fu yong egg, claypot seafood tofu, four heavenly kings vegetables. The taste for all the food was consistent and great. The seafood hotplate is tasty and the prawns were deshelled and huge.

The tilapia fish was so fleshy and was cut in a way that’s easy to serve it to your individual plate. At the end we were amazed to find out the price for the tilapia fish was only RM29! We were so surprised as we couldn’t find this kind of price for tilapia fish anywhere else. This fish was standard size but very meaty. The price came up to RM200+ for 6 pax as we ordered 6 medium dishes but we felt that 5 dishes would have been sufficient as the portion is quite generous. I think the price is very reasonable. My in laws especially my father in law really praised the food here and said we can come here again next time.

It’s air-con restaurant so it’s good as we brought our baby there and it was spacious. It’s not a very big restaurant with too many table and seats available so it’s better to make reservations first before you come on weekends. Weekdays should be okay to come directly without any reservations. And one more thing to note is they only accept cash and not...

A surprise find as we do not know what to eat around Kepong. Many choices and this is totally blind after googling for “Kepong Chinese Restaurant”.

We ordered 7 dishes and none of them were disappointing. Taste good and happy with the taste and quality.

The rib was superb, the mantis prawn in salted egg deserved a second serving (we did). Sweet and sour pork came like fish ball which was hey… that’s new.

Fried Sotong on tamarind sauce was appetising. Kam heong lala was on point with many dried prawns making it very fragrant.

Unassuming place. Reasonably priced. No complains....
