Sakura Den — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Passed by this place everyday but didn't had the chance to pay them a visit until yesterday evening. Booked a table for 6 with family & we were given an option to choose whether at their bar or rooftop. We picked bar coz is cosy and blasting with air cond. The only drawback is the parking space which is very limited. Coming back to the place, overall I would rate it is a great place to come for a drink, chit-chat with friends and family - I must say don't just order drinks but their snacks. We went there for dinner but didn't miss their drinks either. Yesterday night we picked snacks, pasta, salad & pizza to try out - chicken karaage, fried whitebait (both of these is fried to perfection & comes with yummy dipping sauce), I also ordered ice plant salad which is not widely available in lots of restaurants & they had a fushion touch with a combination of western salad & Eastern ingredients (be brave just try it coz you'll not regret). Then come some awesome pasta - asam pedas that taste like asam laksa & not suited for kids though adults can savour them and also the tiger prawn aglio olio (if it comes at the same time, eat asam pedas last). We are in time to savour waiter recommended pizza that topped with bonito flakes - kids are thrilled and get exceptionally excited before even tasting it - while savouring the pizza, try to guess what's inside. And the drinks, I ordered their cocktail 🍸 middle earth as I like gin. Not bad with kiwi. Others are non alcoholic hence they ordered watermelon juice and mojito. This is hidden gem near Old Klang Road. The Valentines dinner package was really value for money. The lamb rack was delicious and pan fried salmon was cooked to perfection. It's a very relaxing restaurant with nice music and friendly staff. The outdoor area on a good day will be nice to sit and chill facing the beautiful skyline.
