I am utterly dismayed by the abysmal experience we had at this restaurant. Our evening started off with high hopes, but it quickly spiraled into a series of disappointments. We placed our order promptly at 8:15 pm, only to wait for over 30 excruciating minutes until 8:45, when the male waiter sheepishly informed us that he had forgotten to input our order. Such incompetence is simply unacceptable, especially considering our previous positive experiences dining here.
Despite my initial disappointment, I tried to remain optimistic. However, our patience was further tested when, halfway through our wait, we were informed that the much-anticipated marsh potato had run out. This second blow left me utterly disheartened. To make matters worse, the staff claimed they were unable to prepare more, leaving us without a crucial element of our meal.
While the quality of the food itself remains commendable, it is overshadowed by the unforgivable lapses in service. It is baffling to encounter such shortcomings, particularly when the restaurant was not even at peak capacity, with fewer than 10 tables occupied.
What truly astonishes me is the lack of any attempt at reparation or compensation for the multiple errors. If mistakes are made, the least one can expect is a gesture of goodwill to mitigate the inconvenience caused to customers. Regrettably, no such effort was made, leaving us deeply disillusioned.

Knowing that I don't eat beef, it was nice for him to arrange this dinner. The restaurant is a family business and everyone is very friendly, trying to please the demanding crowd especially the hungry children.
◾coral salad with vinaigrette dressing - something light to start the dinner ◾Pork burger - the patty was thick and juicy, sandwiched in between 2 bun with a knife stabbed in it. If only they used real cheese, it'd be great! ◾Chicken & pineapple pizza - seeing how the young ones polished the plate in matter of minutes, it was a joy to watch. ◾Pan-seared Norwegian salmon - those who doesn't want to eat red meat can opt for fish and they delivered ◾Homemade sausage platter - 5 different sausages served together with mashed potato in one platter.. perfect for those who love varieties. ◾BBQ Spanish ribs (full rack) - just because we were in big group and even full rack couldn't satisfy our carnivorous appetite.. perfectly rubbed with the dry spices and them finished in their own barbeque sauce.

Read moreThey expanded in 2024 and now sit in 2 lots. Our first couple of visits was before the expansion and if I remember correctly, we had to keep our shoes outside. It was a cosy, family run affair. Food was solid and service was just right.
Post expansion, they cater not only to in house but also delivery service food orders. And they cannot cope with the flow of orders on a busy time. Our sides came out first, one by one. First it was the pickled cucumbers, then 5 min later it was the sweet potato fries, then 10 min later it was the mash then followed by onion rings etc.. 40min perhaps or maybe longer no sign of mains. Upon checking, we are informed the grill can only manage 1 order at a time. By which sides more or less eaten and after an enquiry, the meats finally came. That also 10min apart. Pastas also cooked in line and that took a while. Front of house and food deliveries grew beyond the heart of the place, that of the kitchen.
I know it's easy to give comments compared to the actual start, running and maintaining a business but the SOP and business channels need review for customers to receive their food in a timely manner and at the right order.
