Secret Recipe Setiawangsa — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Went here for the first time today, March 9th, 2020. Ordered a Thai Style Fried Rice and a few other stuff from an Aini (Cashier name on receipt) at 6:39 PM. I was fasting and was planning on breaking my fast at home. There was some confusion between the cashier and one of the waitresses when I was supposed to be given the takeaway (Someone who was not Aini was behind the counter at the time). The orange juice was overlooked and I would've left without it had I not remembered what I'd ordered. Anyhow, I had quite a rude surprise as I opened the takeaway container at home after hearing the Azan. Everything was there—except for the delicious sambal belacan which was the star of the meal and the whole point of my ordering the Thai Style Fried Rice. To think I paid RM 19.20 for a subpar meal! Are these kids serious in doing their work? They may chalk it down to, "Oh terlupalah, cik", but it's not them who's at the losing end. It's you, the store owner, who'll be inconvenienced with a bad review, and it's I, the shortchanged customer, who's been denied my right. Sungguh rasa teraniaya. Padahal kerja mudah je, sebenarnya. Check order chit, check semua order dah siap, check semua order dah ada dalam beg plastik, bagi pada customer, baru sebut "terima kasih, datang lagi." Bukannya tak ada SOP. I thought our order looked a bit different from the picture but they said it was ours so we just ate. Then they came back and said they gave us the wrong dish and wanted us to give back the thing that we were already eating, which is very weird because they implied that they wanted to give it to the other customer. The thing that we have already touched and partially eaten! Then they tried to charge us for BOTH the wrong order AND the order that we never got and had the gall to say we have to pay for the wrong order as well because we already ate it even though they made the mistake and the price is more expensive than the one that we actually ordered. We had to insist 2 to 3 times for them to fix the charges and pay only for what we did order because it's not OUR fault that they sent us the more expensive dish instead. Totally awful management. Go bought 2 sliced cake here. The staff are not freindly at all. Thought there were so many customer. But no!!. Only 1 family eating there, and 1 aunty waiting at 1 table. I think just waiting only. Not busy at all. Got around 5-6 staff inlcuding the PIC Or shop manager I think. But there is not good in customer service section. Girl staff with " muka ketat". Haiyyaa..
