This vegetarian place has one of those minimal concrete aesthetics. I quite like it. The majority of their menu can be made vegan on request or is vegan (although their pizzas can't, despite the label), that aside it's all clearly labelled and has inticing food photos.
Out of their three cabinet dessert options, the biscoff cafe was vegan. They also have 12 degrees ice cream available
The food was quite good, the katsu edged out zen house slightly and it's my current favourite. The nasi goring Assam was very flavorful (and spicy) a unique take that I appreciated. And the mala tofu was delicious, although quite spicy, if you get it I recommend eating it last as it is a little flavour numbing. I would recommend all three of these dishes, can't wait to try more from this place!
The biscoff cake had a good variety of flavour. If it were slightly more moist / fresh it would have been perfect. Though I imagine that would be a hard trade-off shelf life wise for this kinda place

Read moreThe food and drinks are quite pricey for a cafe that is surrounded by school around. Outside look quite modern but they are still using the old school menu of raising hand to call the waiter to place an order instead of using QR code to ease the troublesome. I think having a QR code system is better as the cafe can get busy and staffs could tend to overlook and it will take ages for them to get the order taken and the food to serve. The environment is not bad but is a cafe that you can’t stay long because of the seats and it get quite warm after awhile. No plain water was served unless you request. The noodle was abit tough, those who prefer softer noodle please do inform them to cook longer. The noodle tasted like undercooked. Quite heavy in flavor. Not quite suitable for elderly etc because is too salty, oily etc. Should cut down on this since is healthy choice of food. Ordered a main and one espresso and it cost...

Environment is clean n shiny . very comfortable to dine in. food wise, I orders the spicy Korean lion's mane mushroom burger. it's my first try and it's not up to my expectations. the mushroom patty batter is not "fully cooked" , the mushroom is alright. just the batter is soggy n hard. i presume it's taken straight out of the freezer and into the oven . hopefully they will pay attention to this . other than that...
