Even before dining at KFC, the experience was already very disappointing.🙄🙄🙄
I had just finished shopping at the night market when it started to rain, and KFC naturally became my first choice—it's a brand I've trusted and enjoyed since I was a child. However, since I couldn’t clearly see if there were available seats upstairs, I wanted to briefly check before ordering to avoid the situation where I buy food and end up with no place to sit, especially with the large crowd tonight.
What really upset me was the staff’s attitude. Instead of politely responding to my simple inquiry, the staff member spoke to us in a very rude and unfriendly tone, essentially driving us out of the store without showing the slightest bit of respect or willingness to communicate. We hadn’t even disturbed anyone—we just wanted to check if there were seats.
I fully understand that there may be store policies in place, especially during busy times, but that’s no excuse for treating customers with such disrespect. This experience has seriously impacted my impression of KFC. I hope the store management will take this seriously and improve staff training. A brand’s reputation built over many years shouldn’t be damaged by a single bad interaction.

Before I even had a chance to place an order,(Explain the situation. I do have food I bought at the night market in my hand.) the staff already told me the seats were reserved for customers. (So... I'm not a customer?)
I just wanted to check if there were any available seats, but before I could even do that, the person at the counter already raised their voice at me. 😕
I feel like even if the customers had already gone upstairs, the staff could have followed them to explain the situation — not handle it like that at the counter. future still...
Read moreI normally like to come to this branch because they have a team of happy-go-lucky staffs ,who enjoying their work very much and friendly. Too bad, the team is not on duty today but another team is in. I've been served by a Chinese 'boy'. I mentioned to him that the kiosk machine scanner is not working. He is kind of knowing what I am taking about, but just ignore it although I think I have mentioned for few times (with my sick voice!) Until he got the manager to attend me by apologies saying - oh you can't collet points today, sorry! I am so pissed and wondering if I am speaking to the OKU staff who can't talk and the manager is not giving me any solutions too?? When I got home, check from my attached pic and receipt, what I bought and what I've been given? Where is my Zinger burger? This was the last promotion set, 2 for only RM21.80 but today I am paying for RM24. I wonder if this staff is brining his brain coming to work? When the moment he packed my food, not taking the SOP in his mind. Note, he did not ask for my waiting no. to reconfirm my purchased. I asked him- Chili sauce? Then he put them in. I asked him- Tissues? Then he put them in with the little spoons. Hello? It's 7pm!!!!! Not 7am????????? Read moreCame at 9pm, they said only have drumstick and chicken wing. So I ordered 9 pcs, 2 pcs wing and the rest drumstick. But when I checked only I found out they gave me ribs/breast as well. So I requested to change. The cashier was nice enough to help me request but there was another indian lady from the kitchen who was very rude. She said that I've touched the chicken so it cannot be changed due to hygenic purposes. I can understand about this issue but what is all the rude tone about?! We are customers, I request for chicken thigh you told me only have wing and drumstick. Suddenly you put something that's not in my order, is it my fault?! I came to order, tell me no other parts, no spicy, don't have this don't have that. So what kind of attitude you giving? I wasn't being hard on the fact to change the parts, I only asked once and you started being rude. Seriously, is this how consumers are supposed to be treated?
