Recommended by locals, this is a seafood stall located in a food court.
The cuisine is Malay-Chinese-Thai. Seafood is fresh and the dishes are cooked on the spot. Choose from fish, prawns, squid, chicken, vegetables, and more. Good selection of cold and hot drinks too.
When we visited (7:30pm mid-week), this was the only stall that was operating and they had a steady flow of customers.
The owner was friendly and made it a point to visit our table and ask for a review.
Price is reasonable. Less than RM100 for 3 dishes, 3 rice plates, 3 drinks.
Ambience is so-so, since this is a food court. The tables and cutlery are clean. Lots of cats and kittens around but it’s not a bother unless you have a thing against cats.

Located inside a medan selera@food court by the main road from Jetty Kuah to Kuah town. As it is located among the various stalls inside the food court,there was no significant signboard to be seen from the main road.Just look for MEDAN SELERA BENDANG BARU and walk in till the end and you will find the place. Within walking distance from our AirBnB apartment with ample parking spaces for those driving there. Clean and spacious surrounding with big dining area. Service was fast and efficient. Foodwise, everything ordered was up to expectation. We had Salted Egg Squid, Kam Heong Mantis Prawn,Kangkong Belacan and Seaweed Soup with rice. Who says everything in Langkawi is expensive? Those negative reviews online couldn’t be more wrong! 😄 If you know where to look and how to look, you’ll discover plenty of hidden gems serving great food at wallet-friendly prices.
One of them is Singgah Seafood — and we’re so glad we had our dinner there! Every dish was cooked to perfection by an experienced chef. We enjoyed the chilli crab, salted egg fried squid, and of course, the irresistible butter prawns, all bursting with flavour and freshness.
