Tanjung Tirai View Cafe — Restaurant in Langkawi Island

Me & my friends came here and ordered our dinner separately. We were told by the waiter who took the order that the minimum gram to order seafood dishes is 110g. So, 1 of my friends ordered Sotong Masak Butter with rice, another friend of mine ordered Sotong Salted Egg only & the other one ordered Ketam Salted Egg only.

But when the food arrived, we were told by the waitress that the chef cooked & put Sotong Salted Egg & Ketam Salted Egg together on ONE plate. But we just said OK and eat them. Somehow, the first friend of mine who ordered Sotong Masak Butter hasn't got her dish & rice yet.

After a while, she called another waiter and asked for her dish. Then the waiter said it was already on the plate. THE SAME PLATE. My friends were shocked because they ordered the food & picked the seafood separately but when the food arrived, it was all on one plate and we didn't even know it. But then my friend still wants her Sotong Masak Butter to be done. So the waiter went up again and told the chef.

A while later, another guy come (not the chef I guess, really wish the chef would come down & say sorry at least), and the guy said, "Actually, minimum order for seafood is 200grams."

It's obvious that THEY KNEW THEY WERE WRONG but still wanted to charge us for their own carelessness & want to charge more for another 200grams of Sotong Masak Butter. So uncivilized. Also, tak sedap pun....

The food was fantastic.. Its really delicious .. The owner are really friendly.. The view was stunning.. The sunset was magnificent.. He(the owner) also gave some tips the best places to visit in langkawi.. Sometime you have to asked the local if you wanted to best place in langkawi.. Anyway i love the place.. One day i will come with my family again.. The sotong tepung are the best.. I'm not lying.. We love it.. The ikan masak asam jawa also the best.. Won't find anywhere else .. Only in this restaurant... I already fall in love with there cooking.. The services are fast.. The drinks also good.. I give them 5 star and 1 Diamond(personal compliment) i will come back again.. Tanjung tirai view cafe is the BEST!!! The food are delicious and the waitress are very very friendly...he recommend me the "Ikan Masak Asam Jawa and Sotong Tepung" both of them are really delicious..you won't regret it...few of other menu also wonderful...the view are beautiful and when the sunset are magnificent view...I will come back again to the restaurant...romantic view..delicious food its perfect...I really love to be there... And guess what the price also reasonable and cheap...
